    what a legend Martinez is, somebody like Ward would have crabed and hold all day long and would have made a wrestle match in the 12 and Martinez took punches like a man and came through without holding and bitching around. great fight, that's entertainmant Ward fans :smoke

    Ward wouldn't do that.

    Mainly because Ward doesn't allow himself to be hit by a wild azz shot after absolutely dominating a desparate opponent for 11 1/2 rounds. :nono

    Ward is undefeated, Martinez isn't. Ward is ranked higher p4p. And Ward got paid more for his regular HBO fight than Martinez did for an HBO PPV fight. Ward is also 9 years younger. Why again should Ward try to be like Martinez?

    P4P is up for discussion...

    Martinez didn't drain anyone and fought the top ranked fighter at his best.. something ward can't say.

    IMO martinez ranks higher P4P
