He took 32% against DLH and wont take 50% against hatton and he will make more money.

So its okay to be a 1/3 of the man against DLH but not 1/2 against hatton?

Is DLH so respected in the east that people accept that Pac only just got 32%?
Surely he can save face by refusing the DLH fight?
But so far 32% against DLH is his biggest payday so I dont think it can be right that its a face/honour/respect thing.
    It can only be money.

Team Pacquiao knew that Oscar's still the biggest name in boxing, as far as mainstream, casual boxing watchers are concerned, and Oscar's list of opponents is as good as anybody has, the last 15 years. He has fought legends, p4p champs, & he commands multi million paydays every time, and is basically one of the handful of fighters that non boxing fans all over the world know about and support.

It was also a fight that at least 80% of boxing fans thought was a mismatch and Pacquiao had almost no chance (me included). But Roach was so sure that they could beat Oscar that they accepted it, even if it wasnt a very even split.

They beat Oscar, their gamble paid off.

They have climbed the top of the mountain, and they feel that they deserve to have an upper hand in the bargaining table. Meaning, they feel that they are now good enough to give the first offer, and it's for the other side to negotiate on it and try to adjust the purse sharing closer and closer to 50-50.

    It's understandable.

there is one thing some guys do not seem to understand about 'stock'

your stock rises if you fight and beat (especially in great fashion) a fighter such as the golden boy, even more so if you are not even meant to see the end of the fight and you are a huge underdogg

there is a very big difference from fighting paulie the magic man and claiming a controversial stoppage win right towards the end of the fight

if some of you guys take hattons nuts out of your mouth before you post you will be able to see why the **** pac desearved a bigger slice, also might i add again he is pfp 1
which is a big difference from being 140pound 1. Just in case you guys forgot

    review :
    ricky hattons last three fights

floyd mayweather lost via 10 tko (a beatdown which mayeather had not been able to achieve on any other fighter in his upper classes he laid upon hatton, result stock sinks)

juan lazcano win via 12 decision (lazcano fight was supposed to be an easy morale booster fight after the beat down ricky recieved from floyd mayweather, instead he was in a tough fight where he did well but should have done a hell of alot better, got a little shacken twice against a blown up lightweight who had lost 4 time before he had faced hatton and was coming of a loss to vivian harris)

    and paulie the magaic man...

No you dont get credit for that, not at all.. It was a humiliating lost..
Just let them have their little fun, they'll start crying as soon as hatton hits the ring post again.

I'm just happy right now this fight is back on again. Should be a good fight nonetheless :good
