    Im approaching 2 months since i began training at CYAC in national city,CA., and. 6months since I started training in general.
    I had my first sparring a few weeks ago, and I'm working on being better prepared for next time. So here we go for today:
    Started the workout with 30 of running around cyac.

    Next about 10 30-second rounds of rapid fires on heavy bag
    About 8 rounds of shoeshines
    About 8 rounds of 1-2-leanback-1-2's
    About 6 rounds of 1-2-hooks
    About 5 rounds of jabs

    About 20 minutes of crates

    Wrapped up with 2 sets of mountain climbers; 3 minutes each
    4 sets of 15 push-ups
    One more set of mountain climbers-2 minutes
    2 sets of 30 scissors
    2 sets of 20 scissors

    I've been gone for a week due to being sick, so overall It was a tough workout. I did good though.

    Hard workout today. No slacking :nono

    30 minutes jog outside around gym

    (30 second rounds)
    15 rounds of rapid fires
    10 rounds of shoeshines
    22 rounds of 1-2-leanbacks
    In total about 10 rounds of crates

    3 minutes of mountain climbers

    Coach plays inspirational 1-minute and 30-second spoken word track on radio.

    6 minutes of reaching for the goals

    3 sets of 15 push ups
    3 sets of 15 dips

    *No abs today, might do some in a bit on my own.

    A little more than 2 hours today. Top workout :happy

    Pretty tired today. Not as much intensity as 2 days ago. Here goes :

    30 minute run

    Straight to heavy bags (30 second rounds) . Alot of people shying the bags today, so we did alot of crates
    In total about 42 rounds of crates
    7 rounds of rapid-fires
    5 rounds of shoeshines
    5 rounds of 1-2-leanbacks
    1 round of reaching for the goals
    5 rounds of 1-2-hooks
    1 round of jabs

    3 minutes of mountain climbers
    3 sets of 15 pushups
    3 sets of dips

    (abs)
    3 sets of 30 scissors
    3 sets of 20 in-and-outs

    And time....

    Yesterday:
    Did some weights at school, so throwing punches was a bit heavier during training.
    Thursdays I train with Ivan, my trainer.

    These are all 3-minute rounds with 30-second breaks
    3 rounds of shadow
    One round of shadow/feet movement

    Then I put on gloves and he puts on manoplas/things so I can hit his hands. Idk what theyre called in English ;
    We do about 4 rounds of blocking and combinations. (My felflexes were slow as hell today. Goin back with everything I got on saturday)
    2 rounds of jump rope

    Abs:
    10 sit ups with 8 lb. Ball
    10 reps of dropping ball on my stomach
    10 reps of sit ups/ hitting my sides with 5 lb. Balls
    30 sit-ups w/ high legs
    15 butterfly sit-ups
    15 other kind of sit ups
    20 in-and-outs

    Time!

    today. 3-min. rounds

    started off with about 4 rounds of shadow
    2 rounds working on weaving left & right
    2 rounds of weaving w/ punches

    *gloves on

    abuot 3 rounds working on combinations.
    2 rounds of speedw/ right hand

    *gloves off

    1 round of foot/ring movement

    (abs)
    2 sets of 15 butterfly sit ups
    2 sets of in-and-outs
    1 set of abs endurance
    and time.

    Started with 30minutes of running then.
    overall..

    (30-second rounds)
    27 rounds of reaching for the goals
    8 rounds of rapid fires
    7 rounds of shoeshines
    15 frog jumps
    20 pushups
    4 rounds of 1-2-leanbacks
    3 rounds of 3 straights
    20 pushups
    1 round jabs

    (ABS)
    2 minutes of mountain climbers
    50 high leg situps
    30 in-and-outs
    2 sets of 30 scissors
    Sent home for holidays (happy veteran's day)

    I talked to coach after practice. I'm sparring Monster, one of the best in the gym. He has tons of experience whereas this is my second sparring sesh. :lol: let's do this!

    Like they said in green street hooligans, once you realize you're not made of glass, you don't really feel alive unless your pushing yourself to the limit.

    Anyways, 4 of us sparred eachother today. Monster and smiley were up first, and I went in for smiley to box monster in the second round. I did hella good at first. He couldn't keep up. I think what happened was I drained my energy to quick. He finished the round dominating, and I couldn't keep up. After that nacho took my place for a round with monster. I came in afterwards for a round with nacho, and It was the same basic situation. I need to stop draining myself at the beginning of the round. The biggest difference was that I had nacho hella more handled at first. I learned alot, and I didn't do too bad. I know coach didn't believe in me. So it was cool To hear him say I did good.

    One Round of Jump Rope

    20 reps of sit ups with 8-pound ball
    15 reps of dropping 8 pound ball on my stomach
    10 reps of hittinmyobliques with 5 pound ball
    15 butterflys situps and 20 in-and-outs

    Back to the gym this week! Arrived late, so I only ran about 5 minutes.

    4 Rounds of 1-2's

    2 Rounds of Hard Crazy Bodyshots!

    3 Minutes of Reaching for the goals
    3 minutes of Mountain Climbers
    3 Sets of 15 Pushups

    (Abs)
    3 Sets of 30 Scissors
    3 Sets of 20 in-and-outs
    3 Sets of 20 High Leg Situps

    TIME!

    Started off at cyac with a good 100 pushups (;
    30 minute run

    3 rounds of reaching for the goals
    3 rounds of frog jumps
    20 pushups cuz some dude was being stupid
    8 rounds of crates
    8 rounds of rapidfires

    Then I went out back with the big boys with some circuit kind of training. About a minute each set
    3 sets of sprints
    3 sets of jumping over little bar things in a line (20 pushups for knocking one down)
    3 sets of ropes
    3 sets of lifting a big wheel and flipping it over
    3 sets of pullups
    3 sets of crates
    3 sets of bar raise things
    30 tiggers

    6 laps around gym

    (3 min rounds)
    2 rounds of reaching for goals
    1 round of mountain climbers
    3 sets of 15 pushups
    2 sets of 15 dips
    50 tiggers

    TIME!!

    Trainer Didn't show, but we never scheduled a training so that makes sense. Worked alone today.

    3-minute rounds on bag
    1 round of shadow
    2 rounds of rapid-fires
    2 rounds of shoeshines
    2 rounds of 1-2-hooks
    3 rounds of free combos

    2 rounds of jump rope
    20 reps of 8 lb. ball dropped on me.
    2 sets of 30 scissors
    2 sets of 30 scissors.

    then i came home and up a mountain and down a mountain.
    sparring again next week. i've been hella pissed the last 24 hours. i went crazy on them bags today. this might help or hurt me in the ring. we'll see.we will see.....
