    I could tell right off the back against Rodriguez! The way he moved, his defense, the old body work from the day. He just looked like a new man. Had to see him against Martinez to clarify and it sure did! Cotto DESTROYED Martinez and you dumb asses will use the knee as an excuse but like I've said any times before...MARTINEZ HAD FOUGHT NOBODY WITH COTTO'S SKILL EVER!! THAT'S A FACT AND HE KEEPS HIS HANDS DOWN ALL THE TIME, WILL NEVER BEAT A HOF FIGHTER LIKE COTTO LIKE THAT!!

    Now just watching him tomorrow, hes just on a whole new level. ppl will say hes out of his prime but this Cotto is the one that beat Judah and Mosley!! How you say?? well the DEFENSE is the one key i really see! his defense is on point! hes never had defense like this. if you've been watching Cotto for as long as i have then u seen Corley rock him, Torres drop him, i mean not uch defense his whole career. Now hes barely got touched in 3 FIGHTS!!! HASNT LOST A ROUND IN 3 FIGHTS WITH ROACH!!!

    You can go thru alot of sports and prime doesnt mean young. I was a damn good drummer already but 18 but then I met a awesome drum instructor at UNLV and he took me to a whole new level! Peyton Manning say 2 years ago that this is the best he ever was! ppl laughed and said your 37, no way! well he threw 50+ touchdowns and broke mad records on the way to the super bowl. You just cant under estimate a trainer/coach can take you to a whole new level. prime is not your age, its when u total understand your game and truly reach your top level.

    Cotto finally has a top notch trainer hes never had! How can you say this is not the best hes ever been??? Hasnt lost a round in 3 fights!! Best defense hes ever had and his Jab is possibly the best its ever been. you'll try to come on here and say martinez had one leg, geale is a nobody (top 5 MW) but you need to watch how he fights. hes fighting like hes p4p top 5 FOR REALS!!

    This is the best Cotto ever!! PPL better watch out, hes out on KILL MODE!!!! :bbb:bbb

    It's hard to imagine that this could very well be true even after a plaster beating but, yes, it could be true. As far as defense, I wouldn't say it's actually the defense per se, only that his offense is so formidable now that his opponents are not commuting to their shots like they normally would allowing Cotto's already solid defense to be even better.

    Of course this is the best Cotto, who has he fought that's A level recently? A guy without two legs? Wake me up when he fights real challenges without catchweights. Heck, isn't that why he said he lost to Pacquiao?

    It not about oppoenets, its truly how hes fighting. but if u add oppnets, he beat the best MW in the world, u can say one leg or not Martinez was never gonna beat Cotto, just not as good. and beat a top 5 MW and COTTO IS NOT EVEN A MW!! if you cant tell hes a total monster now then go watch something else because YDKSAB!!

    I don't think he's a monster. Geale rehydrated by some estimates close to 35 pounds. You really think a guy is in fight condition after that? Cotto might as well have fought someone who was just rescued from the Sahara Desert. It's amazing how casuals like you think that it is normal to rehydrate so much.

    He had zero legs, what is this one leg? :rofl FACT is Cotto lost to Pacquiao, Mayweather and B-level Trout. You can continue to believe an old dog has learned new tricks because you're a casual. Boxing fans knows he feasted on a gimp and using the same catchweight technique he accused Pacquiao of using.

    This seemed to be the prevailing thought for while after Cotto's decline

    I knew that wasn't true and Cotto has proven that, that isn't the case

    Hes an A level fight no question about it
