All the old time fans say that this is a weak era. There are MANY good fighters. The fact is that the Klitschkos MAKE them look like bums. And Tyson Fury would knock out Ali. Fury is too big, strong, and skilled for Ali. Povetkin would be a World Champion in the 60s-70s.
I believe it is a bit overlooked -- the Klitschko's are good champions who are deprived of the respect they much deserve. With that noted -- This is still a fairly weak generation. Maybe the pre-Tyson 80s?
Is this the same Rahman that met mixed results among 40 plus year old fighters moving up in Evander and Toney, and barely squeaked by the likes of such luminaries as Alfted "Ice" Cole? :think Lets not forget the coincidental amount of blown up cruisers, middleweights and cruiserweights he fought (and sometimes lost) against... Leon Taylor 2x, Nate Miller 2x, James Toney, Evander Holyfield, Obed Sullivan... Wait, did I really just respond to that post? :scaredas:
