    Postol and Crawford.

This is a fascinating fight because both guys are undefeated, both can box, and both can punch. I like both guys.

Crawford is a smooth boxer who scares me at times going southpaw.

I like Postol because he is a good boxer, but lately he has become more offensive minded under Roach which scares me also.

Freddie's fighters lack parrying and rolling with punches while on defense. Postol has a decent defense, but his ring movement is where he flourishes. Postol only has 12 ko's but don't let that fool you. He can punch. He uses his size to keep you at bay, clinches you and wears you down. He is now punching in combos and has become more of an offensive threat. But that's what scares me. BUT, that could also help Postol against Crawford...who can be timed at times and wobbled while he is throwing his hard shots.

Crawford can change a fight with one shot. He has a classic boxing style using a good jab, and can turn southpaw. This might not hurt Crawford going southpaw in this fight, but against fast fighters...he has been wobbled on occassion. Postol isn't as fast as the Crawfords last two opponents, but he isn't slow either.

Crawfords power is real and once he has you hurt, he finishes you. Postol has to maintain distance and move when he needs to. Will Postol set Crawford up with the jab? Those combos have been working lately so I don't know which is why I love this fight.

Lately Crawford has been brutalizing guys when he's had them hurt, so Postol has to use his 3 inch height and reach advantage to the max. Postol is a big 140 lber, and Crawford has WW power.

Both have a common opponent in Lundy. Lundy was able to land on both guys, but that's Lundy. He was able to land jabs on Postol, and combos on Crawford. What Postol does well is he will jab which is more of a way to get inside than rely on it and throw the right to the body and then throw combos after that with a clinch to follow which just wears guys down. He will stay stationary right in front of you without moving and lean back using great vision and wait until you come up short with your shots and counter.

Guys have used the earmuff defense on Postol when he punches in combos, so he throws that right to the body to bring your arms down and then boom combo after combo. That is Postols bread and butter shot. Crawford can't take that right to the body the whole fight. Crawford is nearly impossible to hit when he is orthodox and his earmuff defense where he parrys and rolls with punches is better than Postols.

Crawfords defense IMO is tailormade for Postols offense, but will Postol use the stick more than he ever has to set up the combination punching? That's my question.

Crawford has good balance, good defense, a good strong jab from either stance, and true power. Crawfords jab will be the key in this fight. He must use his jab to set Postol up when Postol looks to counter with his combos. That's when Crawford must lower the boom!

Will Crawford catch Postol and finish him, or will Postol break Crawford down and stop him? Who can outbox who if it goes to the cards. I don't think that this fight is going to the cards lol.

My opinion on this fight is that Crawford will catch Postol and finish him in 8.

Great fight, and may the best man win.

Don't think Crawford will knock him out, he's got power but Postol proved he's quite tough.

Already finding a way to discredit crawford huh? With a win over Postol, Crawford takes GGG's p4p spot for sure.

Crawford's power is actually very overrated especially recently. He's more of a slick boxers that has extremely well adjusting abilities. I don't see him stopping Postol either.

    Good post Blizzy.:good

But... I see it going this way.

Crawford is naturally a counter puncher, even when he KO's guys its usually because he catches then with a counter when they're coming in, hurts them, and then he aggressively goes for the kill. If his opponent doesn't give him anything to counter it can turn into an incredibly dull affair a la the Klimov fight. Postol isn't going to make any attempt to push the pace and open himself up to anything, he'll settle into a rhythm controlling Crawford with his much longer jab and force Bud to become the aggressor. Postol is not only a counter puncher, but he counter punches in bunches. His hand speed and output is exemplary, and his ability to concentrate while put under pressure is impressive. I don't see Bud being as aggressive as Matthysse here, so it could turn into a chess match with the guy with the longer reach and far better jab nicking the majority of the rounds. And if Crawford does push the pace, Postol will land and land hard, and Crawford was badly hurt by a gassed out of it Gamboa in the 9th and from a short right, so its a legit possibility Postol run of late match KO's continues tonight.

Postl ko :think? If Postol wins it's by decision, Crawford is one of the most mentally tough guys out there, and it's not like Postol is this devastating puncher.

I just hope crawford fights a measured and patient fight. We all know postol is gonna hold everytime crawford comes inside.

I'm actually worried that Crawford is too patient in this fihgt. We all know Crawford is a slow starter, he started slow against Gamboa, Burns, Dulorme etc. If Postol gets the first 3 rounds, he has a great chance of stealing rounds in the second half to win the fight.

I think crawford keeps postol on the outside and outboxes him, gets postol to come forward, and picks him apart.
