This is about vitali. If he is going to retire then good luck to him but what he shouldn't do is kid the public and himself on and fight people like Charr, arreola etc.

There's a good chance that whoever wins the WBC belt after Vitali retires will just sit on it and refuse to unify. That's why it's stupid to worry about all these belts. The only thing that matters is who is #1 which is obvious to anyone with half a brain.

Vitali is not #1 and knows it so who cares who he fights? I guarantee the next WBC champ will be in no hurry to unify with Wlad or will only unify if they get 99% of the purse and a whole bunch of other bull****.

I would like to see Vlad win the WBC title, have them all, then after that if boxing politics finds a way to give it to someone else, at least he would have done it, it would be on record.

As far as Vitali goes, I don't see any heavyweight out there who can beat him, at this time, not Scott, Glazkov, Jennings, Povetkin, Boytsov, etc., however, I feel he will do the right thing. Vitali is a very intelligent person, has a lot of class, and is afraid of nobody. I think he will do well in politics, clean things up, so he certainly has a future after boxing. I sure hope his old injuries are not bothering him. As far as age, he does not appear to have any stamina problems, can go 12 hard rounds.

As far as Vlad's chin, I really don't see him as having a bad chin. As you know, Vlad lost to Purrity because he threw too many punches, ran out of gas, (11th rd.) plus, I think he and Vitali promoted the fight, but his chin held up. Corrie Sanders was an extremely talented southpaw, long reach, had been training for Valouev for months, was in the best shape of his life, Vlad had just beaten McCline when McCline was on top, it was a let down, he had never seen Sanders fight, while I had been a fan of Sanders before Klitschkos, knew what he could do, he was called the "Sniper", extremely hard puncher, quick. Vlad made no excuses for that loss, but Vlad would have beaten him in a rematch, which Sanders would not give, so Vitali stopped him later, whatever. Then the Brewster fight, something was wrong with Vlad that night. (Refer to the Judd letter) Whatever, Vlad did finally get the rematch after Don King left Brewster, everyone knows the rest. I just feel that neither Vitali or Vlad has gotten fair press in US, it's a shame that such talented boxers were not seen by more Americans. Like I say, I will miss Vitali, love to see him fight, same with Vlad. I guess we can't have them forever. I hope they get the credit they deserve one day.

You have got to be taking the ****, do you actually like to watch boxing or have any interest in it?

Why in gods name would you give a rematch to someone who didn't even do anything to deserve the shot the first time round, and a fight that interested about 5 people.

Not even K2 would have the stomach to try and sell that fight... Actually they probably would.. Bernd Bonte is the scum of boxing!

That's what makes me think he'll retire, maybe he's just waiting for a mandatory to be ordered :(

    Not a good example.

Bobby Czyz is too much of a risk due to his astonomical IQ. He's a bonafide member of MENSA. Vitali won't get anywhere near him.

Oh Adamek. So only a full year since the champ has fought a good fighter. I guess that's acceptable.

Apparently he just had a surgery on his knee (from the news yesterday).

Couldn't agree more, but he was also knocked on his ass and didn't win a round.
