Vitali has alot of injuries. And he turnes 42 this year.

Everybody with a brain knows what this means: Professional sport at a high level is over!!!!

I think he needs to bow out now after a successful career. Even a potential Haye fight, for me anyway, gets less and less exciting the further down the line we get. A Charr rematch is somewhat pointless. He has other interests outside of boxing and at this age any injuries he is nursing make it harder to get through tough camps. He's had his day, leave the title vacant so their can be a contest to find the heir apparent. If the WBC are still insisting that they don't allow unifications, it's a shame that Wlad won't get the opportunity to fight for all the marbles.

I used Google Translate on that article (it's in Polish) - doesn't quite translate accurately but you get the jist. Vitali likes kites, isn't he sweet? :)

The world champion WBC heavyweight Vitali Klitschko (45-2, 41 KOs) will be March 2 at the party SnowKiteFest 2013, which will take place on the mountain massif Vitosha in Bulgaria. As is well known, "Dr. Iron Fist" for a few years is passionate about kiting, but this time will not be able to take an active part in the competition and will participate in the event as guest of honor. The reason is the distance knee surgery recently, which prevents the Ukrainian competition with other kitesurferami.

It is worth recalling that in autumn 2005 Klitschko retired from boxing for a few years because of knee problems. Ukrainian boxer had already undergone a series of operations on a damaged knee.

Ukrainian media have suggested that renewing a knee injury may induce 41-year-old Klitschko to make a decision to suspend the boxing gloves on a peg. Sam boxer so far silent on his future.
