I think the idea is that if both are fighting, they can destroy twice as many pretenders. So far they're doing a good job of it.

I'd love to see Vitali fight some better competition but it's not like there are hungry young fighters calling him out.

Also, from the other angle...if Vitali had never retired, would he be the lineal champ now? It's not impossible.

If hes gonna win this fight its gonna be in the first 4 rounds...i doubt he wins this fight though..vitali will knock him mid rounds

Good fight for a few rounds, whiskers will be tested, then Briggs will gas sadly, then jab jab jab cross hold and repeat to victory from vitali. Possibley a late stoppage or retirement

 

I'm not sure, but he's certainly been accused of slipping fans a mickey.

 

He wasn't accused, he was caught red-handed. Briggs tested positve and was disqualifed for one of his fights. Look it up on boxrec.

 

Shannon Briggs has decent hand speed and athletism, even though he is abit out of shape in these video's.
