This Is What I Dont Get About Margo Haters

It comes down to preference. I like skilled boxers and have a great appreciation for the sweet science and some don't they appreciate a warrior mentality and toe to toe action with defense as an afterthought. I can however appreciate both styles I can't say the same for most Margo fans.

 

Goosen offered Margarito 4 million for a rematch he refused. How much is he making against Clottey? I guarantee it is not 4 million.

A lot of members here have boring lifes, and some don't even have a life, so they come onto ESB and criticise professional athletes. It's mainly for attention, something they don't get in the real world.

 

Williams is more interested in kelly it seems anyway, I dont know all the politics involved, but Freddy, I agree with what you've said. Margo hasnt ever really ducked anyone, why would he? Hes been left in the shade for too long to start cherry picking now

 

I dont get it either. This is a fighter who never has a dull showing and pretty much wins fights with his heart and determination. His skill is below avg but thats not enough to stop him. This is a throwback fighter. Its funny how people talk about the old school fighters and how they loved them for the way they fight and now that you have Margarito giving them a glimpse of the past they dont appreciate it.

 

Yes you can, Margarito fans love the art of the sport as well, what they dont like is kids running their mouths talking **** and not taking any real challenges

 

Well, for some of us "old school" does include a strong element of basic skills - it's not just warrior mentality and that's it :bbb .

The minute Marg shuts his mouth and takes a fight people will relax. He just got all mouthy after the Cotto fight and mouthy fighters always spawn haters left and right. I would say many more people hate Floyd and the Floyd fans are probably just pissed because everyone is throwing it in their face that Floyd ducked Marg. Both fighters are best in the ring. Put a microphone in their hands and their gonna **** someone off.

 

its that people want to see him take the most challenging fight...

so people are going to say hes "ducking" paul williams... because at this point in time.. if he were to lose... that additional "L" would be very damaging because the stakes are so high in the welterweight division thats so stacked...

everyone wants to see who is truly #1 in the division.

and to look at it from another perspective...

paul williams already beat margarito
clottey already lost to margarito...

so wouldnt it make more sense to see a rematch against paul williams so he can truly solidify himself as #1?

plus they both have belts... so either way hes making an effort to unify
