hope this comes true. loma early on showed he is willing to risk and not put too much emphasis on winning. winning is one thing, taking the challenges is another. the future is in good hands. i think, it;s time for the euros to shine. while euro basketball has been the laughing stock in the 90's (in the nba at least, they dont understand how a 7 footer needs to shoot 3;s), now it's the complete opposite. a strecth 4 or even 5 is the rage. boxing, i think, is going this direction. and i agree, theftjr is borderline has been. no risky fight in the foreseeable future. cant wait for this ****** to retire his boring ass.
You can't read, you totally missed what he said :rofl And why didn't Pac just take the test? He wants to prove he's clean in court but not in the ring? He wants to use old tests that came back negative from his urine but not current blood tests?
Floyd is all about timing. Not waiting until an opponent is old, but maximizing his profit. If he fought Pacquiao in 2010 and lost, his 2011-2014 fights would probably flop. Pacquiao is/was a high risk fight. I think in 2012 he genuinely wanted the Pac-fight because it could have potentially been his last. Saving Pacquiao for last benefits him in so many ways: 1) Pacquiao is less risk 2) Losing won't hurt his future fights 3) Going out with a bang = $$$ 4) Winning would solidify him as #1 Not that I condone him fighting Pacquiao last, it just makes sense from a business/promoter perspective. Arum will try to cash out on Pacquiao when his time is up. People don't like Mayweather because his promoter mentality (and other personal feelings). I expect to see him pursue Pacquiao for September 2015, if not after. I'd be disappointed if he didn't. Pacquiao has the same mindset. He doesn't take on all challengers like his fans would believe, he'll fight for the right price. THE SAME AS FLOYD. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather are divas, I said it. They both want the cards stacked in their favor, two big heads/egos who couldn't come to terms.
this....prob very true....both guys have similar mindsets....or at least their teams do roach kind of alluded to this in that interview where he said they walked from testing....saying he thought bob wanted it to be pacs last fight.... floyds team could very well have the same mindset....you just wont hear anyone let that out the way roach kinda let that cat out
Roach openly talks about carefully selecting and cherrypicking ODH, Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, and ducking Mosely but nobody says anything. It's all on youtube.
ya i know....roach says they walked from testing and ariza said arum is the roadblock...as did pacs lawyer......but when you throw that stuff out there they say "5 years ago doesnt matter...pac agree to everything now"....and "i dont listen to what trainers and strength coaches or promoters say...i listen to the fighters"..... and yet theyll talk about how pwills trainer said the floyd/may fight will never happen and say its because al haymon told him that....lolol....mannys words dont mean **** when he can hide behind his promoter everytime he gets asked about mayweather or whats next in the ring after a fight
I think this is true. Both will seal their careers then fight one last super-fight for all the marbles.
Riddick Bowes entire career was a joke until Floyd came along Floyd's entire career is a joke even amongst casuals It's funnier seeing himself say TBE
