Pavilk/Hopins and Dlh/Pacquiao that's sad it's really sad. And the sanctioning bodies is no better either, they should let Pavilk and Abraham decide who is truly the real best middleweighthts. Dlh has fights at 154 or he could fight the winner of next weekends great welterweight fight but no he just fought a smaller man in Forbes. Cotto/Margarito is perfect, we need an undisputed heavyweight championship fight with Wlad/Sam in a rematch, something like that I love Hopkins he had his chance against Joe he dropped him and didn't want to finish him or try move on and let the young talented fighters fight one another. I want Pavilk/Abraham, or maybe Williams/Berto.

Hopkins vs Pavlik is the best fight available to Pavlik right now. Or else its Winky Wright, Sergio Mora, or Paul Williams. I mean Winky Wright's last fight was a loss to Hopkins!

Abraham has a mandatory defence so he is busy. Mandatories are important sometimes. Pavlik and Abraham can fight at a later date. Its not like these guys fight once a year

DLH/Pac is a ridiculous match. Nothing wrong with Pavlik/Hopkins.

You are right. Those two fights are wrong, as is Joe v RJJ. I blame ignorant fans who don't realize they are hyping heavily disadvantaged fighters (by weight= Pac, or by age= B-Hop & RJJ) into fights they shouldn't be allowed to take on. You think fans would have learned from fights like Marciano v Louis and Ali v Holmes, but clearly it will never end til the authorities clamp down on the lunacy.

the heavyweight division is what is wrong with boxing. it is the premiere division--and has been for a 100 years--without a huge draw and a great heavyweight champ, boxiing will suffer.

If you want those fights then just go out and start your own sanctioning organization then just like everyone else.

Also if you were Pavlik's management and promoter and could make $5 million to fight Hopkins or $1 million to fight Abraham who would you pick?
