And according to Kessler, Bute should have lost to Johnson. Finally the result was... he won pretty easily, with his left hand in pain. Will Ward be the next one to make a mistake about Bute? We'll see in 23 days.

Hiro still didn't answer to that one. Hiro, how many times have you said Bute would lose?

Of course, an honest answer would make you look fool so I'm not expecting it.

Yeah the part where you say Bute will somehow find a way to overcome that beating and beat Froch in a rematch. :think

It's amazing how even the most boxing savvy of fans can still be fooled by a stay at home hype job with a cherry-picked padded record.

It looks like Froch did quite a bit of exposing himself last night. What with all his supposed flaws and his (according to you advanced) age. He hasn't KO'd anyone in years because he has fought only the elite of the division for the past few years, not a steady diet of bums like Bute.

Face it you were fooled by the flashy padded record, and the hype job that Bute had become. If Lucian was really so great, he should have been in the Super Six with every other elite SMW, but people overlooked that.

At this point I wouldn't favor him over Arthur Abraham, and honestly the only win I believe he could have gotten in the Super Six was maybe Taylor. And that's a big maybe, Taylor was already damaged by the time of the round robin. But he was skilled enough to all but beat Froch and Abraham until he was stopped. And powerful enough to drop Carl, the only time in "The Cobras" career...On second thought, with as weak as Bute's punch resistance is (almost on par with Taylor's) I could definitely see Jermaine stopping Lucian as well.

Wow, one sentence of just plain proven wrong, Bute was like a scared deer in headlights from the frenzied crowd and the first Froch right hand.
