He says that he should have won the fight soley because he "officially" landed more punches.

He thinks that the 45 jabs (most were pawing) and the 52 power shots he landed should count more than Canelo's 88 power connects and 9 jabs.

Also, says something about Canelo only out-landing him after the cut.

Lara clearly thinks that the fighter who touches his opponent more should win the fight.

Does Lara not know that Professional scoring is different than amateur scoring? Someone needs to educate him.

Again, Lara is saying that he won because he landed more punches.

Lara 107 punches landed were nearly 50% jabs, and most of those jabs were pawing .

it's called boxing...not rock 'em sock 'em robots. footwork is the very foundation of boxing. it's unfortunate canelo never learned the basics.

i didn't see anything powerful land or hurt lara. i saw a bunch of winging ass hooks to the body that were blocked for the most part. never saw lara buckle. never saw him freeze from any of the shots. what good is power if it doesn't land? on the flip side...canelo balled up in fear from those pawing jabs and crosses and his head was bouncing around like a pinata.

i teach boxing. u cannot throw an effective punch without proper foot position/stance. u cannot land a punch if u aren't in position to do so.

having a powerful punch is like having a missile without a launching system. it's useless.

    educate yourself.

That's why Lara was running for dear life.

Even fighter's from Lara's camp said Lara lost.

Lara buckled when he refused to engage Canelo.

Lara should know better, whether he won is debatable.

    1. Big stage
    2. Massive **** talk
    3. Plenty of offensive/counter opportunities
    4. In the other guys "backyard"

He should've stepped it up, I think he could've beat Canelo very clearly.
