Floyd claimed he got paid 12 million for Baldomir which can be a lie but the consensus is he did make 8million plus whatever extra from the 300,000 plus ppv and Baldomir was the 147 pound champ. The fight also set up the Oscar fight for him to get paid. Whats sad is that it's no secret that Floyd chases the money but now people are even trying to discredit that. Floyd agreed to fighting Margarito for 8million and re-signing with Arum as long as he was guaranteed $20m Delahoya, $10m Hatton, £10m Cotto. Arum said the Delahoya fight was unworkable and wouldn't make that money, he was only willing to guarantee $6-7m for Cotto/Hatton. Mayweather made $25m+++ for DLH and not far off that for Hatton
