to the *****S! First off let me say Floyd is one of the greatest of his era no doubt about it. His skill level is almost 2nd to none but what makes him so great to his followers (*****S ) is that his way of covering the truth the way he lays out his legacy is downright amazing. Not only is he avoiding the best fighter but he substitute it by fighting someone that to the eyes of many is LEGIT for they're coming off a very impressive performance. 4 His last 5 fights will prove it. First he fought Baldomir instead of Margarito (the number 1 guy in the division) just beacuse Baldo beat Zab for the Lineal title but we all know Margo would brutalized Baldo had they fought. Then he fought Ricky Hatton a year later just because he's undefeated. Not only is Ricky a Junior Welter but the top four fighters that time was Cotto PWill Mosley and Margarito yet he avoided them all and cunningly fought Hatton an undefeated Junior Welter to cover his obvious DUCK. After he retired he then fought a Lightweight Juan Manuel Marquez instead of the top guys at Welter Pac Mosley Cotto because JMM was the number #3 P4P that time. He then waited almost 2 years to finally fight Mosley because of Shane's impressive performance against Margarito. Team Floyd is so cunning they picked Shane after a long layoff and after training heavily for Berto instead of Pac. At 37 Shane's body can't cope up with too much training from one fight to another in less than 6 months hence the horrible performance that he gassed after just 2 rounds :rofl:rofl And now this... The Ortiz fight. Once again Floyd made a brilliant choice of deceiving his followers by choosing Victor instead of Pac because of Victor's very impressive performance against the over-hyped over-protected B fighter in Berto. To the *****S Floyd's selection of opponents means an act of greatness since he's fighting someone not coming of a loss and a champion and all his followers fall for it that they defend him to death when talking about the greatest of this era atsch 41 have tried 41 have failed. That's greatness... only to the *****S :deal
^ Haha. dude i'm a pacfan all day but no one can ever deny the greatness of floyd! He and Pac have both cherry picked a bit here, but it's business at this point for them. They both put in a lifetime of work and I believe have agreed to postpone there dual retirement match to make the most money prior to that megebout.
This post is pure dog doo-doo...I was going to actually debate ur claims, but it's obvious your not a fan of the sport, your just an irrational hater.
As a fellow Pac fan I co-sign on this. Success at the elite level of boxing is contigent on the right fights at the right times. The fighter has to climb into the ring and do the work but the proper matchup is key. And before anyone gets carried away with the old school fighters/back in the day you fought everyone stuff, it still was extremely important back then too. You only fought the dangerous fights back then to gain contention status or if the money was there due to public demand. If not then it made no sense!
Its not self ownage I admired Floyd's skill and as a fighter but he constantly duck the best and covers it with some fights that looked legit but in all honesty his opponents have zero chance of winning. Had he fought Kostya instead of Gatti at 140 Margo instead of Baldo Cotto instead of Hatton and Pac instead of Mosley/Ortiz none of these would exist and its not only me who's complaining of his avoidance, it's almost everybody even the experts. Not just the *****S though cause for them all these fights are better than the ones not made :good:good:hat
