    Yay, approval :D

Floyd is a really smart fighter though. If he actually managed to put his ego out of it, then he could definently take the UD, but Mayweather's biggest opponant is his ego. He is nervious about the Pacquiao fight, which we all know. I think he would try and cover his nerves by going for the KO, not from the start, but as the fight draws them in I think he could go quite wild with a few of the shots that would allow Pacquiao to cut the distance.

As I said, it's where Pacquiao hits, not how many times in % he does.

I dont think he is dependant on the counter punch as you say. With Cotto Pacquiao seemed to be attacking him alot more, and alot of his big shots were landed by his attack and not by countering Cotto. I think the way he catches them on the perfect spot on the chin is why he is one of the best at accuracy. He wouldnt KO the people he does without something special about it.

*****s are much more intelligent than mayweather himself?
I just wish floyd would be as confident as you and make the fight.
Talks of floyd beating pac easily is just a product of your hallucinations.
If floyd really feels that he can school pac, surely he'll fight pac without hesitation.
Easy fight, Easy tons of money. But fact is he's scared.

dont have to be a Floyd fan to know he is better in accuracy than Pac and to know that Pac is not the got dayum MASTER of ACCURACY...

u dont even have to be a Pac fan to recognize that shyt

  5. THAT Paquiao isn't TODAY'S Pacquiao who is far more complete, experienced, and has added KD power to his right hand.

    Stupid ****ing thread.

I did. I said Manny hasn't fought anyone with speed which you still havent adressed. Instead you mention neither has Floyd and failed to mention Zab and yet brought up any name that Manny has faced who had speed. You see when I call you a noob its with good reason. Go back to NSB because here everyone is on to you being a fresh nub.

Mayweather would have more KOs on his record if he has the connection accuracy I'm speaking of. Mayweather would have KOd Mosley if he hit him in the sweet spot, but instead he has the other kind of accuracy, punch stats, and worked him down to go for the UD. Mayweather gets the unsuspecting stun punch, and Pacquiao always gets it. To me, thats real accuracy.

I understand what your saying...But lets not forget that Floyd is exactly the opposite inside of the ring as he is outside...HE DOESN'T LET HIS EMOTIONS GET IN THE WAY INSIDE THE RING...

N I dont think Floyd is nervous about a Pac fight at all..As a fighter you should never be scared "PHYSICALLY" of an opponent and I doubt Floyd is.

What I'm saying is Pac has less of a chance at 'cutting the distance' etc than Floyd has in coming over the top of Pac's job over and over and over again...

Floyd is mos def more accurate and pinpoint..Though Floyd doesn't carry a lot of power he does hit you when you don't see it and when YOUR OPEN and throwing a punch..

It's gonna be hell for Pac to try and cut off the ring...He has the quicker feet but his footwork is no where near Floyds and thus Floyd can probably slow the tempo of the fight and turn it into a boxing match..and honestly man, sorry to tell you, NOBODY FROM 154 DOWN IS WINNING A "CHESSMATCH" TYPE FIGHT...GOTTA MAKE FLOYD FIGHT AND TO DO THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE SKILL AND FOOTWORK TO CONTROL THE RING GENERALSHIP...

I see a bigger fighter, with good footwork, good speed, and decent athleticism being able to beat Floyd...not a smaller fighter with a very disadvantage with reach..

    :thumbsup

Since compubox punch stats were created Floyd has been the most accurate puncher period. These Pacquiao fans are funny. They already forgot Manny's 20% performance against Clottey which was his last fight but Manny is the master of accuracy.:huh

    1. *****s = AWFUL insult.
    2. I do believe that it is mainly down to Mayweather why the fight didnt start, but only because he wants to control the situation.
    3. I believe he is nervious, but he also knows that if he wins, his legacy would sky rocket,

Mayweather isn't 100% on the win, I'd say less confident than Manny. But this is also because of the undefeaten record. Alot of fighters become afraid of their record. Mayweather hand picks his opponants, so against Manny I think he'd be put out out of control a little. He is trying to regain control by adding alot of stipulations onto the fight. Manny is not letting Mayweather get control, but he too could easily just agree to it and have all politics aside.

I'm not saying that Manny is dependant on counterpunching at all.

I'm saying that when he does, a lot of his most accurate, powerful shots are produced.

Manny knocks people out at the higher weights on accumulation, Hatton being the exception.

I'm not saying manny can't throw an accurate punch. I'm saying that considering how many punches the guy throws, I can't really think of him as an accurate puncher.

Yeah, picking Pacquiao to win makes me one of the Pacquiao fans eh? I'm a fan of Mayweather too. I just have Pacquiao to be the better fighter.

You just gave all punch stat references, so I mean, read one of my other posts next time and think about stfu? :O

They counter punches are more than just counters though. They dont stun the opponant because he is unsuspecting, they do double the damage becauyse he places them perfectly. No offensive fighter will have really high punch stats. Mayweather has such high % because he only counter punches, while Pacquiao trys to work them down between the counters.
