The California State Athletic Commission Is Trying To Come Up With A Way To Cover Their Own Ass....

If the left hand was already taped under the supervision of the csac and when nazim entered the room, nazim noticed there were some issues.. that would mean that the csac would be equally responsible for allowing margarito to cheat.... maybe im wrong.. i dont know how the process of being taped goes but if the csac over sees the wrapping..they would be equally responsible...

    - shane has agreed and said its illegal although capitillo should be to blame
    - nazim has nothing to gain by lying
    - shanes doctor said it was the material they used to make casts
    - eman stewart said that gauze never harden if their kept in a plastic bag which margarito's gauze should have been

I just really dont see why the verdict is taking so long.. thats the most suspicious thing.....

its basically official margarito did something illegal.. its just a matter of time until we find out to what extent......

Wow...the more I read about this ****...The more I'm inclined to believe Margarito's innocence...

First they were just bricks that fell out. Now they're knuckle pads that feel too hard...:huh:think

I think by the end of this it'll be a small suspension and fine, but Margarito will face a brighter tunnel at the end of all this...or maybe not...

    IS IT FEBRUARY 10TH YET?! :twisted::wall :nut:fire

I still think this is bull****. Its going to end up being compressed tape or extra thick gauze.

Im tired of hearing these ignorant people that keep up with "Margarito should know how his hands are wrapped and how they wrap them".

Anyone who says that has never ****ing boxed on a regular basis in their life. I boxed a lot when I was younger (especially when I lived in Mexico for a year), just for fitness, but I certainly did not know how my hands were specifically wrapped each and every time I went to train.

    1. Its not always the same guy that wraps them

    2. There are dozens of techniques to wrapping, each person is different

    3. The trainers experiment. I never encountered anyone who said "THIS is the way to wrap" and wrapped the EXACT same way each and every time for each and every fighter. They have a basic methodology and go from there, they are always looking for a better way

    4. Margarito has been boxing since he was 15 and has had his hands wrapped 1,000s of times. He sits there and its second hand. Unless the wraps feel weak, he isnt going to notice anything wrong with them

    5. A good hand wrap is hard to begin with, thats the feeling you want. Unless it literally feels like a ****ing brick of concrete, you are not going to notice anything wrong.

Also, I find it odd that after so many fights and so many opponents, it is only NOW that Margaritos wraps are called under suspicion. Did Cottos camp not watch his hands get wrapped? Or Cintrons and Emmanuel Steward? Paul Williams trainer or cornermen never noticed anything?

And likewise Margarito opponents have never expressed that his wraps felt too hard or anything of that nature. He has been acknowledged as heavy handed, thats it.

He is innocent till proven guilty as far as I am concerned

Walk with me makes some great points. I think not for the fact that the wrap was signed off on they would have already fired Margo and his trainer...At the same time Im sure if they used something that was wet and the gauze would have looked normal unless you were the one putting it on...As far as light at the end of the tunnel??? I doubt that, I think that Margo will lose some time for sure, and someone at the CSAC may lose a job

Evangelista Cotto said in a newspaper here in Puerto Rico that he didn't notice anything wrong with Margarito's wraps when he witnessed the wrapping. But Walk With Me makes some valid points that not many people have touched here, instead they just go on bashing Margarito (prematurely in my humble opinion).

And you have the right to call us people saying that ignorant? Are you plain ****ing stupid?

Do you not see the difference between you boxing amateur or for fun or whatever the **** it is you did, and being a professional boxer fighting for world titles at the top of the sport?

Of course he should know what's going on his hands, especially if it turns out to be plaster.

I can live with the innocent until proven guilty argument. What I can not live with is that this is taking so long. At the heart of it this should be a criminal investigation and should be taken way more seriously. And there is no excuse for it to take this long. Anyone who knows anything about hand wrapping can take 5 minutes and tell if there is an illegal substance in the wraps.

Man, if Margarito is cleared of any wrongdoing, a lot of people here are gonna be looking very stupid. Particularly the Floyd fanboys, who are just loving this

"Espinoza told the Mexican newspaper, Primera Hora, that the foreign substance in Margarito's wraps was merely gauze that had been prepared too long in advance and thus grown humid and hard."

I have spent half of my live working in ICU and operating rooms. I have never seen a simple gauze do that. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I wont be surprised if they cover Margarito's ass to cover their own asses

"They started putting tape on the wrist and the thumb on the right hand," Richardson said, "and they were putting too much tape directly onto the skin. No gauze, just putting tape directly onto the skin on the wrist of the right hand."

Taping directly to the skin is against the rules, so Richardson protested.

DO WE NEED TO SAY MORE??????????????

I dont care if it was bricks or harden pre prepared guaze it shouldnt have been there. Marg's trainer already admitted it was hard gauze, why is hard guaze being placed in the wraps?

WTF???? I started boxing at 6 and stopped at 18 when I had to put on weight to play College Football....In those 12 years I only had someone wrap my hands in training once, and that was the very first time that I went to the gym, after that I wrapped my hands myself every ****ing time I went to the gym...Now when it came to fights I didnt wrap my own hands, but I would tell who ever was wrapping them how I wanted them step by ****ing step..and if you dont think that pro fighters do that then you are mistaken bigtime...Fighters want thier hands wrapped the same way everytime, which is what pissed me off so much about this, My guess is Margo has been doing this for a very long time..
