I was going to say the same thing. I always wrapped my own hands. The only guys who had somebody wrapping their hands in the gym were pro guys with a hired team.

Actually I can agree with MJ...when I was boxing as a kid. I had my trainer do them for me. I watched and paid attention so that I can do it on my own. But granted I was a kid and wasn't pro...so I see what you guys are saying.

Although my trainer never "tried new techniques"...I saw some vids on how to wrap your hands on youtube and it looked the same way my trainer did. The only thing I ever complained about was how tight he wrapped 'em. I liked it super tight. He said it would cut off my circulation. But it really never bothered me. So he always did them tight. It's hard to do the same on my own.

So I'm all confused whether or not Capetillo tried to use plaster...I think this whole thing might just be Nazim's paranoia. But Margarito did do something illegal...but my guess is that it's something that no one is making it out to be. Something minor most likely

Quotation: I have spent half of my live working in ICU and operating rooms. I have never seen a simple gauze do that. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I wont be surprised if they cover Margarito's ass to cover their own asses[/quote]

This is what I think as well. If they knew the wrap was legal, we'd know that already because there would be no reason to keep that secret. If, however, they know is wasn't legal, now you have legal wrangling to cover for the commission's negligence. This is a negotiation at this point, in my opinion. I really think there's a balancing between how badly to punish Margo, as well as whether to fire the over-seer, and finally, you probably have threats of lawsuits by Cotto's people and other issues to consider. The fact is, I think, we know only one thing for certain: something was not right about the wraps...

It's actually Cintron and Clottey's people...Cotto's case has been dismissed

This can be easily explained by the fact there exists KNOWN unknows and UNKNOWN UNKNOWNS, which is the case here.

I believe the evidence has been analysed by NIST scientists, and they discovered a brand new physical phenomenon unknown by physics until now, consisting of the hardening of gauze under the influence of sweaty mexican hands.
Genetics are almost assured to be involved here.
Stay tunned for the forthcoming announcement.

Where did he fight Clottey and Contron?

I think we should pay close attention to the commission that allowed for the wrong "taping."

I just know that Nevada is much stricter when it comes to this sort of thing.
