Crawford's Trainer: Jaron Ennis Don't Bring Nothing To The Table

Enough with the Jaron Ennis talk. Brian “Bomac” McIntyre has grown both tired of hearing his name and vexed when prognosticators spew that he’s done enough to earn a fight with Terence Crawford.

From a skill standpoint, maybe he has. But in terms of his accomplishments and name value, fighting Ennis simply isn’t worth it.

“He don’t bring nothing to the table,” Bomac told a group of reporters when asked if Crawford would be willing to fight Ennis next. “He got our leftovers.”

By and large, Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) is irrelevant according to Bomac. He did recently win his first world title but the longtime trainer has a hard time respecting how things played out. Just a few months after Crawford issued a one-sided beating to Errol Spence Jr. to become an undisputed champion, the IBF sanctioning body stripped Crawford and elevated Ennis.

Inoue (might be) ranked higher than Crawford because he 4 belt unified in 2 division in the span of 12 calendar months. That's an amazing feat.............not because of Crawford now only wanting the most financially meaningful fights he can get before he retires.

He beat his nemesis (badly). And now he wants the cash cow or the Australian cash cow. I'd like to see if he can turn the animal Boots back, but I respect what Crawford is trying to do............

Crawford is the P4P King & has reached the point in his career where he's only willing to cross swords with other boxing royalty. Call it boxing snobbery but it's the way it is. You need to be a King to get a fight with Crawford these days. I'm afraid Jaron Ennis doesn't qualify.

Super Boots would stand a very good chance of knocking him out and I'll put my testicles on that

And Crawford damn well knows it too

Crawford has barely fought any legit punchers, especially ones his size and on one of the extremely rare occasions he did he got dropped

Super Boots is a very big puncher with both hands

Crawford has never fought anyone with a reach as long as his in any of his world title fights

Super Boots also has a 74'' reach

Crawford has not fought any athletic phenoms sans maybe Gamboa but that was a grotesque size mismatch between a natural 130 at best and a boiled down natural 147 with a 9'' reach advantage

Super Boots is an athletic phenom

Crawford has often been the bigger man, rarely the smaller man, and very rarely if at all much smaller

Super Boots can match him for size

And in addition to the aforementioned Super Boots is also blessed with blazing hand speed and very good skills

Look at this motley crew of featherfists, C and D levels, leprechauns, non-athletes, plodders, and cripples and then remind yourself that it's the resume of a 40 fight vet who is P4P#1 in many people's eyes.

No matter what they will try and have you believe, this is rather underwhelming but they act like it isn't and will look at you incredulously when you dare to question it or argue otherwise.

I think Crawford is an excellent fighter but their claims do not stand up to scrutiny. We're just supposed to accept what they say as the gospel truth and never dare question it. Well that ain't me, no sirree.
