Pac is a special fighter to me because he is a fighter who had gotten better as a champion with each fight. I saw PAc when he fought Agipito Sanchez...which was a step up in class imo and didn't think too much of him. That all changed when Pac fought Juan Marquez. For years I thought Morales and Barrera ducked Marquez. I saw Marquez hang in there with a pfp ranked fighter in Norwood. Marquez lost, but he showed a chin and heart. Some even think he beat Norwood. I thought it was Marquez's only clear loss. Anyway, what Manny did to Marquez had me in shock that Marquez would lose in a round. Pac impressed me, and that fight told me Manny was for real.

Pac has gotten better with each fight. He had gotten tons better defensively, his right hook is blazing now, and his aggression is controlled fury now. I love that in a fighter. I haven't seen that controlled fury since Floyd-Corrales. Pac like any fighter has gotten better and better with each fight, and the reason why I get on him about his comp is because I want to see him in a no win situation or a fight against a top peer to showcase his extraordinary skills. I got one sided fights watching Roy Jones and now I'm seeing that with PAc. I want to see Pac in another gun fight. He is 29, in the prime of his life, and can become great with one big fight. To be honest, I am a Floyd fan, and Floyd will have trouble beating Pac if he has to drop any unusual amount of weight. Floyd...if he can't dance, or tries to fight Pac flatfooted he will lose. Floyd is the smartest fighter in the game so I think he would be totally ready for this fight.

Good post... i was going to make a thread awhile ago about how much pac has improved.

I too want to see him up against a prime dangerous fighter... which is why i want him to fight one of the following (hopefully... more then one)

    Baby Bull
    Hatton
    Valero

and would also like to see

    Cambell
    JMM 3

There is something a young gun brings to the ring that even a great faded fighter doesnt and cant... so people will harp on and on about valero being crude or whatever, but he still brings an energy and youthfullness to the fight that most guys pac has been fighting hasnt... also has the mentality of an undefeated fighter along with big power. Its a dangerous fight.... same with baby bull..

If pac beat baby bull... that would impress the hell out of me.

Hatton, despite how people on the internet **** on him... is a very good fighter, and would be an awsome fight, i think Hatton wins that fight.

I am so not interested in Pac vs Mayweather... im just not. Let pac fight people more his size, and let mayweather fight the best from the division hes supposedly the 'king' of.

Yeah, I think these were Nal's thoughts from the beginning, he just gets fired up with hardcore fans of any kind at times, that's why he sounds irritating when debating with "nuthuggers". He appreciates Pacquiao as a fighter no doubt.

I would love to see Pac against the Baby Bull but once Pac signed for Oscar I knew that it would probably never happen. Unless Diaz really elevates his name I see no reason for Pac to take the fight now. He would have to win his belts back from Campbell and/or beat JMM and/or go to England and beat Khan and then move up to 140lbs for Arum to even entertain him as a possiblity.

A fight against Valero is even a bigger stretch. For one he's not licensed in Nevada and more importantly he has no real reputable names on his resume.

The Hatton fight I believe is all by signed and sealed. It should be the next super fight we see. (Unless you call Margarito-Mosley a super fight)

Morales never ducked Marquez. Marquez was offered 750k and then 1.5 million to fight Morales but Marquez's dip**** managers turned it down.
