I can definitely understand why some people would think Cotto in this one, as he is bigger, stronger, and has good fundamentals.

But the key to this fight is speed. Pacquiao's speed of foot movement means he will be very very hard for Cotto to pin down and land on, and both his speed of foot and hand movement means he will be inside hitting Cotto and back out before Cotto has even lifted his guard up to block.

Speed kills. And it will. Pac by KO. :good

If Pac can't back Cotto up he loses. If Cotto can take Pac's punching power, than that will be a huge factor.

The jab won't be a key for Cotto, because Pacquiao and Roach know how to force their opponents to abandon the jab.

it'll be interesting to see if Cotto can take on to land one of if he is forced to give up his offence when Pac is throwing punches.

Please learn the sport before saying such ridiculous things. Pac has never had a good jab and it's one of his biggest flaws.

We shall see......I don't think Cotto's "speed" will be a factor given how much faster PAC is. But the hook to the body PAC will be very aware of and the right hand will be difficult to land on Manny based on his movement and speed. It should be a good fight!

You can never consider Pac's jab as excellent. But underrating his jab is stupid imo

Its not his strong point but i bet pac can employ a very good jab if needed

The point is he's never shown one. So saying he can just employ one now at 30 is highly unlikely.

he seemed to abandon the jab this late in his career. He was using it more often when he only had a 1-2 punch. Maybe he doesnt need it as much as he learned other useful tricks.
