    Watching Cotto fight, presumably. :patsch

His defence is his greatest weakness, always has been. Anyone with even one iota of defensive instinct wouldn't have stood wide open letting Margarito smash uppercuts off his chin all night.

Margarito and Pac are two different fighters, Margarito is a bigger much bigger man, probably alot stronger than Manny is on top of that....
it will be easier for Miguel to push Manny back than it was for him to push Margarito back....

and lets not forget how long it took Margarito to get Cotto out of there, and look at the punishment Margarito took along the way can Mannys chin and body hold up to that? Million Dollar question....

Some suspect Tony of using loaded gloves in that fight, and if thats the case if he really did, I give Manny Pacquiao Zero chances to beat this man. if Cotto can take that many power shots with Loaded gloves and nearly make it to the 12th.....

Manny has his work cut out for him, I dont see Pac doing to well in this one, he will start fast but Manny has always had trouble with Counter punchers....

Pac is not a defensive wizard like Floyd unlike Floyd he will attempt to punch his way out of any harm Cotto brings to him. Cotto will have his moments and when he does he must be ready to counter PAC with full force. If Cotto does this he will hurt PAC and PAC will look to fight and that's when Cotto's size, strength and body attack will put PAC out. If Cotto can handle the weight drop and be patient he will prevail.

Pac rarely use his jab and only when fighting opponents bigger than him. Sometimes, he throws double jabs to set up his straight left. I think he did it a few times against Diaz.

It looks to me as a ready excuse in case Cotto lost to Pac. I don't think a pound drop from his last fight's official weight will be too much for Cotto to handle but can certainly serve as an excuse after the fight.:yep

It is irrelevant whether Margarito and Pacquiao are similar or not, the fact is that the Margarito fight proved that Cotto does not have good defensive instincts or good defensive abilities. Pacquiao will be hitting him so fast and so often that Cotto will break eventually. The speed difference will shock you in this fight. Cotto will be taking five to land one. He breaks first.

Nope, not even close. Only the size and strength part. Cotto is a true welterweight and has been for years, he is a better technical fighter throws better combinations and has a much better defense and skill set than Hatton...also has a harder punch and faster hands....two totally different kind of fighters.:hi:

Bull****, the reason his body attack was non exisistent against Margarito which is who your eluding to,is because he was getting hit in the face by someone who had bricks in his gloves literally and he went into survival mode which was hit this guy in his head and try to knock it off.

The speed differene isnt going to shock me, I know Manny has fast hands I know he will start off banging, the difference here is Manny is going to get hit back, thats what will shock you, Pac fans havent seen their man get hit back by anybody who can punch in his last two fights....

Come november, though Manny will be scoring shots so will Cotto and that is something I think all too many pac fans tend to ignore.... How will your man react the first time he gets hit by a solid welter in his prime?

and yes he will attack attack attack, but in doing so the more he attacks the more holes he creates for Cotto to exploit.
I think Roach knows that they bit off a a little bit more than they wanted to, they wanted Mayweather cus he is a defensive fighter, that kind of fighter serves pac better than someone who can box and can slug.....

we only have a few more weeks..... dont think I am saying Cotto will walk through him, the first three rounds Cotto is going to have to use to adjust to the speed, to the range and the power of Pac.....
I fully expect from round 4 on to see Miguel take over...

It was more of a range finder than anything. The right hand didn't even touch Hatton.

Pacquiao's footwork, movement and speed will mean Cotto finds it very difficult to land on him. Cotto's porous defence and slower reactions mean Pacquiao will find it relatively easy to land on him. Pac by KO. You'll see. :good

 Calm down there cupcake......I was talking about SHANE vs Miguel bro. So before you get all worked up.....Marg could have had loaded gloves, but that had nothing to do with Cotto NOT going at his body for the 1st half and last half of their fight. Cotto didn't go to the body with Marg b/c his head was so easy to hit!:rofl But eventually Marg caught up with Cotto and his shots took more out of him than anything Cotto could muster up.
