Did y'all see how bad Wilder was, carried Arreola for 8 rounds, but it's becuase he only had 1 arm. His right arm was broken. Now imagine fighting Floyd with 1 arm instead of a Buffet King punching bag like Arreola. A healthy Pac deserves his rematch with Floyd.
Pac LOST. Deal with it. His injury is a total FAKE. Deat with it. People just cant stand the reality.
His first punch in the fight was with his "injured" arm, his last punch in the fight was with his "injured" arm. He flurried like no tomorrow, and had no problem with those flurries AT ALL. Nobody saw anything extrange in his boxing style. He was as fast as he can be. And on top of that they said that he had this injury since 1923. What a joke! EDIT: probably it was some minor issues that he planned to fix when he had time for it. But not a serious enough injury to impact your boxing. Excuses everywhere.
did anyone here watching the fight live think "man pac seems injured or unwell"? i did not see an injured guy in there i saw a guy who was being beaten to the punch, who was afraid to let his hands go because of the counters by floyd (floyd almost always lowers his opponents outputs compared to their other fights) as for his "injury" big ****ing woop EVERYONE has niggling injuries.. i train alot less then floyd and pac and even i have a ****ed shoulder from my first fight back in 2014 which flares up when im training, iv got problems with my feet and my hands in the past.. so pac aient lying when he says he has an injured shoulder but floyd said it best when he spoke about it saying that his had hand problems his whole career but he dont use it as an excuse. you cant train as hard as both these guys do for months in preperation for a fight and not have some form of injury... we aient kids no more (though some people on this forum have me question that). our bodys aient what they used to be TLDR: yeh he prob has an injury of sorts on his shoulder but theres no way it was substantial enough to cause a change in his usual style which is why with or without it hed lose the fight like he did.
Injury was real, he injured it before the bout in sparring and worsened during the bout. Torn rotator cuff, and Floyd thinks he's TBE beating a 1 armed man and shot pac, while he's roided to the gills too atsch
Pacquiao had a legitimate shoulder injury that Ellerbe was aware of. Pacquiao had a bad camp due to the injury, unable to take a legal painkiller, too. The OFFICIAL MEDICAL STATEMENT is that Manny Pacquiao had surgery for a torn rotator cuff, a 'significant tear'. Mayweather was apparently so dehydrated that he needed IV's (which are known to be used in sports to mask PED use). Mayweather had the T/E ratio of a 128.5 year old man. Mayweather is not worthy of much credit for this win over 'number 48'.
Torn rotator cuffs are weird. Mayweather was using his 'injured shoulder' far more than Pacquiao did vs Castillo I.
He told to his corner, and you could see his boxing impacted by that. Did pacquiao say anything? did his trainer? noone. Not a single, how's it going? NOTHING. His flurries were excelent. Top speed. Boxing like always. Excuses, everywhere.
How does a so called "one manned" fighter continue to throw right hooks and flurries??? Oh, the injury was just an excuse for getting schooled.
pac wasnt hurt...he was throwing hard, furious, flurries in the 6th round...he was just hitting air and shoulders....couldnt hit a target....the injury he claims wouldnt allow you to raise your arms over your head...let alone throw full speed flurries everyone with a brain knows pacs injury claims are a sham....and its a sad way for him to go out....acting like a child
