Mayweather can neutralize Pac's output with footwork, and Pac's movements and rhythm are can be timed by someone with Mayweather's skills. The right hand will land like a heat seeking missle on Pac.

If Mayweather can beat his opponents throwing 1 or 2 punches at a time it's probably the reason he only throws 1 or 2 punches at a time. Make him throw more to win and he will.

 

Mayweather - with the jab and that super straight right. Pac will look ordinary and won't be able to figure out what to do.

 

Hatton was a busy fighter but all Mayweather had to do was pot shot him with straight right hands. Marquez was busy but Floyd blocked almost all the punches, seldo did Marquez land something like a combination.
Its not about being busy, its accurate punching. Floyd is better at.

 

He only fights from angles after he's managed to pin you down with his first punch, however if you take away that set up punch, he cant get those combos off as much and then switch angles on you when he has you disorganized


Mayweather will land the counter right uppercut on Manny, the jab, and the lead right hand over and over imo.

Manny does not close distance with the jab, he tries to jump across the kill-zone with his straight left, only against Mayweather he will have to jump in from further out, because Mayweather's longer than him, capable of operating from further away, now because of this factor, Mayweather will get more time and space to whip the counter right uppercut into play whilst Manny's jumping across the distance shooting in with his straight left.

Manny has no glove defense, which is why he gets hit with the jab so easily at times, he doesn't parry or block enough.

Manny moves his head in a predictable rhythm, almost as a token gesture, and because of the way he holds his gloves, his defense is wide open up the middle, which is why I think Mayweather will pierce his guard with lead right hand as he's coming in.

Manny doesn't have a jab to close the distance, so will have to resort to feinting his way in to try and offset Mayweather's timing whilst he trying to counter him coming in, then he if he manages to create an opening for himself by feinting, he will try to explode into range with his left hand, however this will only be made easier if Mayweather stands still, which Mayweather wont, he will keep Manny turning.

A guy with a poor defense is not going to beat Mayweather, if he wants to apply pressure with a poor defense, his only chance is by KO imo.

 

Manny has been able to get away with poor defensive techniques because he is so fast and athletically gifted. Guys who try to capitalize on them get beat to the punch. Manny also knows that he is the superior athlete and has gotten very comfortable inviting people in so that he can out gun them. This is why when he faces someone with elite hand speed that will capitalize on these flaws and not get beaten to the punch he may end up in deep water.

 

When it comes to speed.
