Man, the BCS is even more criminal then boxing. I watched the USC v Penn State game, Texas OSU game and some of the national championship. The rest of the games are like exhibitions, they dont matter.
Especially the eighth round where Oscar won in the eyes of the commentators and myself and it was given to PBF by all judges. That could have changed the desision in Oscar's favor going by the score cards given. It was alot closer than what posters are now claiming. Then again, this is post Pac so he looks less of a fighter now???
Oh, you mean the Mayweather highlight reel? :think Clown. :blood Can I play too?? [YT]din0rds-EfI&feature=related[/YT]
I do as well. I remember watching the fight over and over with my brother and cousin... we were just trying to understand what other people seemed to see so differently. We were all rather sure that Oscar won the fight. Not any blowout.. but we all had separate scorecards that we didn't talk about.. and all of us had Oscar winning 7 rounds to 5. I was even giving Floyd the rounds that I thought could be even in case of any bias.
That's pretty much how I scored the fight. I seriously can't understand the arguement that Oscar wasn't landing cleanly or that Mayweather "dominated" the fight.
No domination or schooled. Oscar even finished strong. PBF actually looked nervous when the scores were read. No hate for PBF though. He is a great fighter and Oscar will go done as a ATG whether posters like him or not.
Its not worth debating because anyone who had Floyd losing any of the last 4 rounds is a moron, and clearly you are one. Here's a tip, go back to Youtube and rewatch the fight. And see if anyone inside the ring or outside the ring thinks Oscar is winning the fight come the 12th round? No. Merchant, Lampley and Steward clearly view that Floyd has taken over the fight at this point, you know, during the 8-12th rounds where he his sharp shooting Oscar at will. I've seen the fight atleast 15 times, and unlike you I have 20-20 vision. You need to take your ass to pearl vision, get a check up.
No he didnt. Floyd won the first 2:30 of the 12th round, doing what he had been doing the last half of the fight, placing precise punches on Oscar noggin of which he had no means of responding. You must be talking about the final exchange where Oscar landed one clean punch. Thats not how you score a fight. I suggest you rewatch the fight again. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. uhh no. He was pretty confident he had won the fight as was everyone else in the ring and at ringside. He was shocked when one judge who shouldnt be allowed to judge a fight again (per Kellermans words at the end of the broadcast) scored the fight for Oscar.
