This is why PBF clearly beat DLH.

I urge everyone to go back and watch this fight with an eye out for body shots. They are often not counted and is the reason often fights are seen as controversial. Sometimes they are counted and sometimes not. This fight is an example where body shots are not counted by judges (and some fans) and so it looks one sided. People who see body work as valid see it as a much closer fight. Another example is Hoya/Sturm. The fight on the face of it seems a clear gift for Hoya but upon closer study one is not seeing Hoya's combinations to the body. It's a pick between Sturm's jab which lands on the face or Hoya's combinations to the body. Most of the time head shots are all one sees. Another example unrelated to Hoya is the Diaz/Morales fight in which a lot of people saw Morales getting robbed. I never saw it as that because Diaz was working the body and getting points for it. Of course, the head shots are more dramatic. It seems body work is only given credence when it leads to a weakening of the legs and eventual ko. When it comes to decision controversy follows.

I will only say that it is what certain judges look for. Oscar and for example SRL liked to flurry at the end of rounds even if they were losing in the beginning of the round. Some judges score rounds for fighters on just that, flurry. Oscar is using exausted by the twelve and I only meant he finished strong. You want to look at a round, then look at round eight were Oscar won and it was scored for PBF.

As far as PBF confidence at the reading of the scorecards. You suppose to look confident and raise yours hands. Most fighters look shocked when a score card is scored for the other fighter. I beleive he looked a bit nervous. He was not fighting Gatti, but the golden boy Oscar de la hoya. The SD could have went the other way. I thought it could have been a draw at least. An immediate rematch should have taken place to stop all doubts as far as PBF is concerned. He begged for fight with Oscar ever since he was 130 pound champ. Oscar gave him the chance.

Floyd won Round 8 decisively. The same way he won round 12, by controlling the action and placing precise punches. Floyd outlanded Oscar 20-14. Several of which landed quite clearly and rocked Oscar sideways and one snapped his head back. If a judge scores a flurry at the end of the round, instead of scoring the whole round, he shouldnt be a judge, simple as.

Ahh i see. You are an Oscarsexual. The only reason Oscar even got an SD was because he had the judges on his payroll. If this were a nuetral venue, promoted by a nuetral organization, the fight would have been scored correctly. 116-112 for Floyd.

Here's the 11th round and most of the 12th. Do those shots look like they arent landing moron? Does it sound like anyone at ringside is thinking Oscar is winning the fight? Get Oscars fishnets out your mouth.

By being virtually inactive for the first 2.30 of the round. By catching clean shots on the head. Landing only 1 real punch during the round. Ok, we know where to throw your opinion.

Yeah punching a guy in the face isnt doing anything while the guy you are doing it to provides no effective retaliation. Again your opinion is trash. A tip. You score EFFECTIVE aggression. not simple aggression.

Any person who knows boxing and knows how to score a fight would give the round to Floyd. Someone like you for instance, who possesses known of these abilities will struggle.
