Off the top of my head (no specific order:)

    1. Ray Robinson
    2. Sam Langford
    3. Henry Armstrong
    4. Harry Greb
    5. Willie Pep
    6. Muhammad Ali
    7. Roberto Duran
    8. Benny leonard
    9. Joe Louis
    10. Sugar Ray Leonard

I didn't mention Packey McFarland, the magnificent Joe Gans, Gene Tunney, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Carlos Monzon, Barney Ross, Mickey Walker, Jack Johnson.

Still haven't gotten to the more contemporary fighters such as Chavez sr, Marvelous Hagler, Pernell Whitaker.

Just to be considered a possible top 20 fighter of all time is an INCREDIBLE achievement. A top 10 fighter though? It's almost impossible now.

Boxing has been around since the 1880's. From early on with guys like John L Sullivan and non-pareil Jack Dempsey all the way up to Joe Gans being the greatest fighter in the world by the turn of the century. The sport has a VERY rich history, and just because some people don't know who these guys are now, doesn't make their accomplishments any less impressive.

I agree. It's possible to become a top 10 ATG today. You just have to be good enough. DLH and Pacquiao gave it a shot. They just weren't good enough.

I agree no one will do it. The older fighters have too much respect and I tend to agree with it. I always said that if PBF finishes 50-0 he will be a top 15 ATG and he couldn't get into the top 10 even if he beat GGG at 160 and ward at 168.

Well if he beat GGG and Ward he would have two wins over prime great fighters.

    That would mean a lot.

Did Mayweather give an acceptance speech for fighter of the era????

    Nah, he didn't.

But I do remember Pacman accepting and deservedly so, an award given to the best and most supreme fighter of his era/decade.

Fighter of the decade. Live it, learn it, deal with it.
