If a link to this you tube video has been posted, I am sorry, but I couldn't find an old thread-- This is a 1960 film of the TV show This is Your Life honoring Joe Louis. There is background from family, etc, but the highlight for me is the appearance of other boxers, including old friend Sugar Ray Robinson, and old foes Jimmy Braddock and Ezzard Charles. Charles' comments are very interesting. Jack Dempsey is also present at the dinner in which Louis is surprised, and gives some comments. But the real highlight for me was the appearance of Max Schmeling and how he and Louis interacted. I think the show wonderful in showing Louis and the other champions in their everyday personalities. **I don't know how to bring this one over, but I'm sure one of the younger computer literate fellows can.
