When a fighter gets knocked out once, his punch resistance diminishes, especially when he's getting old such as Jones (35 years old when the Tarver KO happened) and his legs aren't also as strong anymore to compensate during the impact... IRREFUTABLE FACT

Jones had a decent chin until he got knocked out in consecutive fights. Manny Steward stated that Roy should've taken at least 12-18 months off after Jones v Tarver II.
