People go on about floyds speed but duran was no slouch at 135 147 . And he was very smart. Floyd would have a hard time against duran. I judt dont see him winning . Not that he couldnt but i dont think he would.

It's not a knock that may people place Duran above Mayweather. He simple has achieved more and demonstrated the stylistic threat that FMJ would be contending with.

To compare FMJ to Duran is actually a compliment to Mayweather and points to the reality that you have to go pretty far up the atg rankings to find a guy of similar size to favor over FMJ.

Has Floyd ever won a fantasy fight on here? It seems like he loses to everyone including the people he already beat but a couple years earlier.. Also, why do people pick the few times Mayweather looked touchable, (Castillo fight, 2nd round Mosley, little of the Cotto fight) and put other boxers in that position, and claim that's the reason he loses? If Floyd gets manhandled at any weight by Duran as the best defensive fighter maybe ever, no one in this era can hang then...

His foot work is debatable to Leonard's. As far as comp I will agree, but Duran was not the most crafty fighter out of the bunch. He does not come to the table with anything that Floyd has not seen before. Leonard would be more of a threat to Floyd then Duran would because Leonard can switch up. If Duran aggression fails him, he has nothing else, but no mas.

Roy Jones easily beat Bernard Hopkins who is much better than Floyd or Castillo with a broken right hand. No excuses Castillo won end of discussion black and white

So with this logic, an in ring injury is no excuse to not looking great in that same fight? If RJJ did it against B Hop, everyone should be able to do it.. Stupid comparisons.. Just like the Adrian Peterson and D Rose acl injuries...smh

    This. :good

It speaks well of Floyd's ability that he's even being discussed with top tier greats like Duran, Armstrong, et al.

The fact that all you HATERS have to reach back to yester-year to find an ATG HOF fighter as someone who you believe can beat Mayweather...shows that you don't even know how much of a complement you're giving to "Money" Mayweather.

    SMH!!!

Duran would have knocked Void out cold!!! Duran even went up to 160 lbs., went 15 close rounds with Hagler. It was a split decision. Void would not even come into the same room with Hagler..............Void is running from Pac and has been for many years, Void's fear is obvious......................Void is a fraud, a legend in his own mind.............

Void has fought no one yet he beats everyone, whats wrong with this logic? the man wont exceed his grasp and you want to bestow greatness he hasn't earned, why?
a top 10 fighter who fought vicious middlewights, and hard punching brutes who dwarfed him in size and reach an old fat Duran beating Barkley is equal to Floyd beating Golovkin or maybe even Ward.
