This Match Needs No Introduction-Max Schmeling Versus Floyd Patterson

I think Patterson would surprise everyone by catching the relatively slow starting Max off guard in the early rounds, and there's a good chance Schmeling could get stopped. However, I think the fight goes more towards Schmeling's favour the longer it lasts. I think Max overcomes tough early rounds and comes back to win a MD or SD.

 

If this went to a best out of seven, I think one of them would win four and the other three times. I want to say that Floyd Patterson picks up the four wins, but I am in no way sure of that.

 

Really good matchup between two underrated fighters. I agree in a series both of them would probably walk away with wins. I also agree Floyd would probably win best of 7.

 

Could go either way. Schmeling had enough pop in his right hand to hurt Patterson, but Schmeling could also be hurt by Patterson. Patterson was also faster and more aggressive. I slightly favor Patterson.
