This may sound weird - but i think Lennox is improving as commentator

I'm saying this because i just rewatched Mayweather vs Judah and Lewis was just aweful in there.. he added absolutely nothing to the conversation and had the most monotonous voice imaginable. He has improved at a steady rate ever since and because of that i didn't really take notice, but he's a lot better today. He now makes some good remarks and observations now and then, raises his voice from time to time, etc. He's still not that good a commentator, but a lot better than he used to be.

He'll never have the sharpness of Jones or the charisma of Foreman. Then again, i thought Foreman was giving wrong advice often (saying that Lewis should jab Grant after he knocked him down three times, etc), and Jones could be a bit annoying when his ego took over and he had to start saying how great he was and how he'd beat both Klitschko's.

yeah, I think so too. I believe that he's a welcome addition to the team. I wish RJJ wouldve worked out, but if you cant act like a professional when it comes to your job, why keep him around?

He's cool, but I still wish Roy Jones was there.

Lewis has improved, I feel he's better than RJJ, who seems to try and come as really smart some of times, but just looks even dumber in the process. Even though Lewis repeats the samething over and over again, he has been pretty decent lately.

dont mean to sound a smart ass but anyone would improve its natural. its how good you are after a few years which will decide if you last.

:rofl  I think Lennox is content with saying "Really", "exactly Larry". I dont think his mind works like Atlas's, I rather Lennox than that *** Kellerman talk, I really wish HBO could turn off his mike before the telecast, I think that would make alot of fans happy.:yep

The dude is as dumb as a box of rocks. He can't react to the action - if he tries to , he says something stupid.Otherwise he has to think for 30secs before saying something constructive and by then its too late

If you had to take Kellerman or Lennox to do all HBO telecasts from now on, who would you take and why?

    Thats a hard one.
Kellerman is good in small doses but drives me nuts after a few minutes.
Lewis seems to have very little insight for a former champ.
    They both suck

I don't doubt that manny has forgotten more about boxing than I'll ever know, but I dont think Ive ever heard him say much that was very insightful or interesting.

I prefer both jones and Lewis.

I think I would take Lewis, it's better to hear almost nothing from Lewis, than have to hear the unpleasant voice of Kellerman and **** comes out of it. When Kellerman comes on, I get instantly pissed off that Merchant isnt working the mike that night.
