I am always happy to see Lennox on the broadcast. And I agree, he has made large improvements with his wording, really alot here just recently. Just this time last year he would so often mis-pronounce fighters names, and I've not noticed it much recently.

Actually, his call at the end of Maskaev-Rahman II really added to the drama of the stoppage. I think he's improved quite a bit as well; he doesn't make jaw-droppingly inane remarks like Foreman used to do, and can actually make fun of himself from time to time (as he did during the call of the Klitschko-Austin fight).

Lewis is one part of a terrible package. Kellerman is a joke, and an irrittating on at that.

Kellerman (screeching voice): 'and a super fight has broken out.... in this..... superfight'
    Lennox (monotone): 'definitely'.

same old shite fight after fight.

Lennox has become damn good as a commentator, not as good as Roy, but his still improving.

At least Lewis has a good excuse , he used to get punched in the head for a living.

actually, I think Ali would probably be a better commentator than Lewis.

How about when Pavlik knocked out Taylor:
"I don't know where that shot came from (probably from where it had been coming all night, Len), but it definitely hurt Taylor!
    NO ****, LENNOX!
    Classic stuff.

I rather have Ike Ibeabuchi as commentator than Max Kellerman.

Jim Lampley makes a shitload of wrong calls ("oh big right hand!" when something was blocked clearly), but he knows how to make an atmosphere, he can get things a bit excited without sounding like a ***, as Kellerman does.

Saying Lennox has improved is like saying Bobby Pacquiao has improved. In the end, they're still ****. Lennox is the worst HBO former-boxer commentator ever.
