Yeah... I don't know what people would do with themselves if they both retired.

    Exhibit A.

People who are unwilling to admit that their side as any blame whatsoever in not making this fight.

I hope afterwards it would be more talk about plenty of other fighters that deserve to be talked about.
But in reality it will be as much talked about as it is now along with hypejobs, lewis tko6, glass chins and there will be a new star that gets the most attention.

Yeah, half of the forum have nobody else. The real fans are the ones that have way too much else to focus on to even feel that strongly if they both left the sport, for the most part, I think. The entire top ten list right now can all go away and I've still got several fighters I follow. It won't hurt me any.

...Incidentally, I nominate this thread most necessary thread of the day.

I'ts like watching two school yard kids taking turns pushing each other but both being afraid of making it a real fight.

And more embarrassing is watching so many idiots just putting the blame on one side.

Pac fans have no problem blaming Arum.

If you recall Pac was being pressured to demand Floyd. Pac finally did, said he would say Floyd was his preferred next opponent.

He agreed to the OSDT that Floyd fans wanted.

Other than that, you cant expect him to do more. He's not the guy who sits down and negotiates the fights, that's Arum's job and apparently he isnt too interested.

And really, if the other guy doesnt take 50-50, there's no fight at all.

What do you want Pac to do other than refuse to fight anyone at all if its not Floyd?

Pac does lose respect for choosing Cotto, a garbage opponent. No excuse for that nonsense!!!

the **** you calling cotto garbage? he is not my favourite choice either for pac but no need to disrespect a top 15 p4p 154 champion with an excellent resume.

Both sets of fans are more concerned with blaming each other, seemingly ignorant of the fact that all parties are an embarassment to boxing.

Can you imagine any other sport where the two best cant face off to determine who is number one?

    it is.
its sad and pathetic how this fight still cannot be made.
most fighters pray for a superfight with a great rival, ali had frazier, leonard had duran and hearns, even larry holmes had gerry cooney.
the money that can be made by this fight, yet all we ever get is bull**** excuse's, and letdowns.

A good start of not supporting a floyd-pac thread and avoid embarrasment as you say it is to stop replying to floyd-pac threads at all.

BTW, WTF am I doing here?
