After hearing that Frampton doesn't pay MTK any fees for their managerial role in his career, it makes you wonder how bad Barry actually is. Of course it looks like one man is ripping you off when another provides the same service for free.

It also makes you wonder how MTK are a sustainable boxing business if they're not even charging certain fighters fees. Looks more like they're laundering drug money.

When you consider ,according to Wikipedia , the MTK Golden Contract tournament apparently is supposed to secure the winner a 2 year contract with 5 fights with a guaranteed 6 figure purse for each of those fights !!! Again sounds brilliant for the fighters concerned and makes you wonder if MTK are a charitable organisation? Even if we take the worst estimate of what constitutes 6 figures and assume £100,000 that for fights outside of serious titles is a very decent purse and particularly during current COVID 19 restrictions difficult for an ordinary promotion to balance the books. If a World title fight where I assume it’s a 50:50 split is worth around $200K which at exchange rates is approximately £146,200 , Jazza is going to need a top up.Next question who can O’Hara Davis, another winner, fight to earn those purses ?
