Apparently this guy is an MMA fighter and kickboxer. He has sparred with Michael Grant and he says "... I would like to challenge both Klitschko's and go at it...that is something I would really like to do..." If Boxing is so dead, why does every big name from MMA's heavyweight division want to make his name in boxing winning a real heavyweight championship? Dos Santos included. Obviously Boxing titles hold some weight still in terms of history, legitimacy etc
cries for attention, similar to David Haye's plea for Vitali's attention by running naked in the jungle
NO he doesnt, Badr Hari is like Ortiz talented but stupid as they come, no control no balance what so ever and glass chin Badr would be KOd by Wlads jab Schilt dropped him with a jab and Wlad has much harder jab than Schilt!
Spong could do very well if he switched over to boxing NOW. I don't think he;d win a world title or anything(maybe after the Klitschkos retired) but he and a few other k-1 guys have what it takes to mix up in boxing. Skelton came from k-1 as well, and didn't start boxing professionally until he was 35 and he did alright for himself. Guys like Ghita, Spong, and Saki have what it takes to compete in boxing. Like others have said in this thread, Hari is too wild, has bad balance as well as a glass chin.... He wouldn't do well in boxing.
His chin isn't the greatest, but look at Skelton he got KTFO in k-1 several times and did alright in boxing.
Mma fighters want the money boxing is able to give for big fights. Even stars in the MMA world make a fraction of top boxers, getting used.
After a lot of time,he made it to being a good British level fighter. Being a kickboxer helps you over the average athlete though of course, since you are using your hands and you are training as a pro athlete.
