I think Blue_Ray just assumes that everyone is as consumed in this fight as they are in the Phillipines.

For me, it is great that boxing is the king in any country, but please...... we don't need to hear about Pacquiao all the time - do you not have anybody else worthy of mention?

:huh Don't understand that remark :-(

If someone doesn't agree with you... it doesn't make them stupid. The fact that you continue to press your point when it is clear that you are talking out of your ass...... well......

This ISN'T the biggest fight ever. It isn't even the biggest fight of the past decade involving a British boxer - never mind anyone else.

Deal with it, or **** off.

    Preferably both.

I thought The World Awaits was a good tactical boxing match, I enjoyed it.

Likewise, if someone does not agree with you, you don't call him names.

You got me wrong again... and I can't resist saying you're making a fool of yourself. I am not talking solely about a Briitish boxer. Why can't you look beyond England or Great Britain? This is about boxing in general.

Sigh! This shows that some people still have myopic view of their world. Quit saying the earth is flat, dude. Get out of England.

Supposedly, it is. It's his last shot to what he believes as grabbing from Pac the #1 P4P fighter in the world.

I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but in America pbf hatton was a much, much bigger fight.

Maybe in the US. But Pac brings w/ him name recall in Asia, and now in the US because of CNN, ESPN, and other media hype. The fact that he fought and beat dela Hoya in a convincing fashion in American soil has left an imprint of him in American consciousness. He has a tract record in the US to bank on which can approximate or surpass inactive Floyd.

Pacquiao/Mayweather would be bigger. It will happen if Floyd beats Marquez and Manny beats Ricky, it would be massive!!!!!

I don't agree. Most of De La Hoya fans aren't boxing fans. They like him because he's hansom, American, and his story. None of those apply to Pac so it's unlikely most of those Hoya fans now follow pac. Not everyone that beat Hoya is an instant celebrity, how people in America do you think know Felix Strum?

Hell yeah in the US!! Why is it on ESPN then?? Biggest fight in a long time because theres no mismatch and there going to war. But if pacquaio wins, Mayweather-Pacquaio will do 2 mil buys easy.

I agree with this fight is just a preliminary to the biggest fight --- Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Even bigger than Floyd dela Hoya.
