This Newspaper Claims The Smith/ Johnson Spar Was Fake

Many times? I once said you were a good poster on other subjects.

This as an AP report from an unattributed source , posted in a NY paper ,[ the fight was in California]. As such it is of course interesting but hardly conclusive proof.

One wonders if you are aware of how difficult it was to promote mixed bouts in some states during Johnson's reign?

Smith had a purple patch from Dec 27th 1912 to 16th July 1914 .

During this time Johnson was a fugitive ,on the run ,,and living in Europe.

Smith's bubble was emphatically burst on July 14th 1914 ,he lost to 20 yrs old ,170lbs Carpentier and , two and a half months later to another L Hvy, Levinsky.That same month he was blown away by Langford in 3 one sided rounds, being on the floor in each of them.
After that his career was stalled ,and his results erratic.

If you believe that this sparring incident, [if it actually happened,] is an indication that Smith would have kod Johnson in a title fight, then you are clearly delusional to the point of being unhinged.
As I said to another poster , who is amazed that you put so much store by this incident , "hate has removed your objectivity".

Just for reference, I think you are lower than dog ****.

I do not hate you, you are not worth hating.

I've have nothing but contempt for you.

I have an open mind on the Smith /Johnson incident, just posted it for interest.

Either way, I am with all other posters, [except yourself ], who see it as no big deal ,and believe it has no relevance ,or import as to how a contest between Smith and Johnson would have gone.

Your opinion of me is of no interest to me ,as I have zero respect for it.
