Would he smash up a shot to pieces old Covid riddled Alec povetkin who could barely walk to the ring? What about a shot to pieces old kubrat pulev who lost to shot old delboy? Could ngannou beat that old man who was a part time cage fighter himself by that point? Obviously he ain’t beating fury but is he beating some scrub like Dave Allen or Jermaine Frankfurter? He was the UFC champ. Is a good MMA fighter. Hasn’t fought in 18 months + Has power in MMA but likely loses to most boxers in the top 30.
Difficult to say as I’ve never seen him box. As a physical specimen he hits harder than all of them less Povetkin but that is at a longer range in MMA. I would say he loses to them fighters. He would beat Dave Allen though!
Phenomenal athlete. 36. Didnt start til he was 26. Cameroonian, started working when he was primary school age. Landed in Paris in his 20s end up homeless and some MMA people took him under their wing. His back story makes Whyte's look comparatively Etonian. Heavy handed. But he's not going to do any damage as a boxer with no grounding in the sport and closer to 40 than 30. A gimmick fight.
Tiresome Fury holding the HW division hostage whilst he negotiates freak show gimmick fights against men who aren’t even boxers. He should get stripped and the major governing belts need to ORDER all HW champions to fight TWICE per year against ranked opponents. Otherwise they LOSE their belts.
Ngannou is a killer, he is the lineal UFC heavyweight champion of the world. He possesses concussive power and is as strong as an ox. I've heard Ngannou will be using MMA gloves for this fight, that significantly increases the likelihood of Fury's eye getting cut.
It’s so difficult to even compare standup MMA fighters with boxers because of foot positioning etc. As far as one punch KO power goes he’s definitely not far from the top. Have to assume that Tyson would school him though.
