My Dad was born in Malaysia and grew up in Zimbabwe so where would you class him? If your parents are British, you're brought up as British, but you're born in another country you're still British... It should really go down to what you consider yourself. Saying that, there are a lot of plastic paddies...

Not really bothered what he's classed as. So long as he's in entertaining fights that's all I'm concerned with.

    You just edited this post

But in response to you saying i contradicted myself.

Tell me how? I said i would class Froome as Kenyan. If i suddenly upped sticks to America after being born and raised in England. I wouldn't class myself as American.

Has Macklin ever lived in Ireland :patsch How on earth can he be Irish.

Because both his parent only moved to Ireland in there 20's

And yes he did live in Ireland during the summer hence why he became good at hurling and you see him over here the whole

    So is chisora English?

No Chisora isn't English. If you are born in a certain country and you live there, thats where you are from. It's not hard to understand. Regardless of what your parents are

Mo Farah is Kenyan or whichever African country he came from. I don't make the rules of which country he can represent. He isn't English or British though.

When I think of plastic paddies I mainly think of americans who want to be irish. They have a great granddad whose father went on holiday to Ireland so that makes them irish.

I think people get funny about Macklin being irish because he always seemed brummie but then suddenly jumped on the whole irish band wagon in the states, which commercially makes a lot of sense for him.
