Who is everyone? Has there been a poll asking Do you class Chisora as English? I don't think so.

Hell, Chisora probs doesn't class himself english, hence why hes come to the ring before now in half british half zimbabwe shorts.

He just seemed brummie because of his accent he is Irish though

Honestly there is no Irish boxing fan who would claim a plastic paddy, IMO Seanie Monaghan is a plastic paddy

People seem I think it's insane that people see the furys as Irish but every single member of there family are Irish travellers

I think it's hilarious because it's the only time you will see Brits actually claiming that an Irish traveller is actually English , there to pissed of at them to ever say that

Ask them i don't know. I certainly don't class him as British.

Like i say, it's not hard to understand.

If you are born and raised in Australia, you are Aussie.
If you are born and raised in America, you are American.
If you are born and raised in English, you are English.

    It's quite simple really

I'd actually say he's as Irish as he is English and vice a versa. Not sure why it bothers people though.

Its not quite that simple... What if you are born in one country, move to another, spend your childhood there and then move to another country in your teens? Surely it depends on your family heritage. Anyway Britain is a multi cultural society which is something we should celebrate rather than having bigoted views on who you deem to be British..

It's because he is competing for England at sport (he is only allowed to do it coz hes not competed for Zimbabwe) it's a totally different context.

Question for you, if a polish man came to england having been born in poland and brought up in poland, would he suddenly be English?

Ok, If for example if my parents went to Spain on holiday and i was born there. It wouldn't make me Spanish. If they brought me up there it would.

Check Macklins passport. Bet you it doesn't say Irish

There no point to trying to understand all this logic mate, this is simple English logic that they use when choosing who is British

    Good at sport=British
    Bad at sport= foreigner

Every country does it not just England. I don't like the mercenary nature of some athletes but if you put your body on the line for one country and stick with that country then they deserve some respect.
