The biggest thing that shits me is this. Pacman fights the fights you want to see. You true fans know what i mean i mean. He fights Barrera Twice Wins twice He fights Morales Three Times Loses once wins twice He Fights Marquez Twice they Draw then he Wins He fights Ledwaba On short notice and wins He fights Larios and Wins He fights Dela Hoya at a weight were he shouldnt be and Wins Now he will be fighting either Hatton or Mayweather and in all the time we watched either Hatton or Mayweather in the last 3 years look at the fights Pacman gave you for your money compared to PBF or Hatton. Pacman Gave You Morales A++ Velasquez B+ Morales A++ Larios A- Morales A- Solis B+ Barrera A+ Marquez A++ Diaz B+ Dela Hoya A+ PBF Gave You Brusseles B- Gatti A Mitchell B+ Judah A- Baldomir B+ Dela Hoya A++ Hatton A++ Hatton Gave You Tszyu A++ Maussa B Collazo A- Urango B- Castillo A- Mayweather A++ Laszcano B Malignaggi B- Now fans on here constantly bring Pacman down and he constantly gives you fights worth seeing and fights great opponents yet fans still bring him down. THIS IS WHAT SHITS ME ABOUT THIS SPORT OF OURS. WE FINALLY GET SOMEONE LIKE PACQUIAO COME ALONG AND STUPID FANS DO EVERYTHING TO BRING HIM DOWN.
Pac just can't catch a break. He just won another fight he had no business winning and he fails to get any props from the threadstarter.
Let's face it anyone that fought Pac is considered SHOT and a BUM afterwards! Any FANTASIZED match-up automatically makes Pac as a loser. After any fight Pac is ducking everyone. I think they wanted to do is Pac should have fought 10 people all at the same time, so that way we know that he is not DUCKING fighter A till Fighter Z.
So what's the point of starting this poll/thread when anything and everything that people would post, right or wrong (except those whose opinion concurs with yours) won't matter to you because you already have made up your mind. It's utterly useless. Question... would your position change if the poll result, at the least, contradicts your opinion? I highly doubt it. So whether you are ranting, venting out or just longing for self-validation... you could have saved a lot of people's time and effort if you have put a little note at the start saying: This content is protected
the op was beginning to make a good point but lost all credibility when he said to choose Pacman over Hatton is irresponsible
The Thread starter hasn't stop crying yet... :| check out post #13 of this thread http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56090
I agree, he's had 2 fights over 130 and is now a completes 147lb wrecking machine. Its ****ing ridiculous.
Then what's problem if other says he can beat hatton or PBF? i don't see nothing wrong with that. It's just an opinion... :good
Sure its an opinion and thats fair enough, but its the 'case closed' type attitude, largely on the back of Diaz and Oscar (very few people were picking Pac BEFORE these two fights), that makes me laugh.
BoppaZoo. I'm pretty confident nobody is trying to bring him down. I can't think of anybody that dislikes Pac, he's close to the most likable fighter in the sport. However, its the hysteria from his huggers that creates the illusion that people are trying to bring him down. People start arguing against him in order to create a balance. The hysteria IS getting out of hand, but there are some who are underrating him, probably as a subconcious way to counter the obsession. Fact is he is a great, great fighter who will retire the best of the decade, and one of the best fighters to have ever lived, and we (well I for one) really do appreciate it. But that won't stop me from taking the opposing stance in wank-fests over him, because I despise seeing such blind obsession. And in saying that, he is my favourite active fighter (if DLH is retired).
Hysteria? Maybe here in boxing forums. But were what, a few hundred posters currently logged in? A couple of thousand, tops, on a busy fight night. Go out to the real world, and very few people give a **** about that little Asian boxer, except for a handful of casual boxing fans, maybe. They know about him, a little. He's not a household name, thousands of people dont mob him when he walks in public, abroad. Your overhyping the hysteria.
