He is clearly over 220 pounds in this photo, post Ali he weighed 220 pounds in the ring, but between fights he was heavier like everybody. And liston weighed 209 -213 in his prime. His peak was against cleveland williams

George himself talked very movingly of Liston. For that matter, Mike as well, but George moreso because he was an actual friend. It has been written that when George hit the heavy bag, the only think in the room was a picture of Sonny on the wall.

George used to tell the story that he liked to rough up his sparring partners, but he would hit Sonny with a monster punch and Liston would say "no, son," and knock George on his ass.

So prior to Ali Liston never weighed more in between fights? Foreman didn't weigh more in between fights either?

Look at the angle of the sign in the back and the fact that Foreman is very close to the camera. It's the angle.

Foreman always looks big.... Theres just something about him, he was the first truly big heavyweight. He made Norton look weak by comparison. And he towered over Moorer and Morrison. I bet even if he fought Klitschko, Bowe or Lennox he would've been about the same size and be physically just as strong/stronger
