Only reason he's been able to succeed so late in the game is because he's so technically sound. Great picture.

He and Floyd are the only guys who can pull those off today with that kind of picture perfect accuracy.

Toney not too too long ago was able to as well.

Yup, agreed. He looked extremely good last night, considering his age and experience. His technique is great and he works very hard!

That said, I still don't think he should try to go up to heavy to take on Haye...

I'll never forget the Calzaghe Hopkins fight. The camera went to Calzaghe's corner and Calzaghe is just repeating himself "Hopkins is cheating man" "He's cheating" lmao. No Joe, Hopkins is a true veteran and knows every trick in the book.

Im not taking away from Hopkins but if he was to fight a young , determined fighter there is only so much experience and skills will suffice. Look at old archie moore he went on years and years past his best and so long as you let the old guy in your head and let him dictate then you'll lose. the only way to udno him is pressure and vigour !

You cant deny the mans skill set though and that is a sweet punch

Just shows how pointless the Jones rematch was going to be

I'm only twenty and am too young to remember Bernard earlier in his career. This guy is amazing to be doing so well at his age so I was wondering whether or not Bernard has really lost anything over the last decade? I mean he ****ed up a young Kelly Pavlik and was in his 40's and is still looking strong today. Has he lost any of his skills or abilities that he had ten years ago cuz if he has then he must have been a complete beast in his prime

My favorite Bernard Hopkins moment is the Tarver KD.

Tarver tries with a left uppercut inside...BHop bends back and clocks him with a short right hand that sends him halfway across the ring.

In Philly guys do that all the time. I used it last week just because of him!
