    and yet only two threads and this makes three, and Im not a local.

    FFS what gives! if this guy were Mexican or Puerto Rican the locals
    in those Countries would be going bat**** over this! let me put it furhter if a Chinamen born and raised in any of those two spots were fighting at the world level for a belt even if he was a **** we would be watching and discussing.

    Im pulling for Kat and Im psyched What gives.

    Main reason mate is the good fighters in Oz are never given credit and this fight is not even being shown on PPV, which is a DAMN DISGRACE!

    Total bull****, Katsidis is a world class fighter exciting and he would be a Champion today if Casamayor didnt get lucky. I feel this guy is a Warrior and a much better show than Mundine will ever be. I guess true balls takes a back seat to media manipulation and bull****. I understand though, keep the faith. I know you guys here in Oz are true fight fans considering the shitty fight coverage you get. I hope katsidis pulls it off it will be good for Boxing as a whole and it will be good for boxing in Oz. It gives the young guys something to shoot for, showing them what is possible, it can be done! go Katsidis!!!!!!!

    You should know that discussion length is related to how many fans like or dislike a certain fighter. Everyone here in Aust likes Katsidis and therefore you wont get much more than the general well wishes and praise.

    If Kat had a dividing personality im sure he'd be talked about more.

    Hope Kat goes well :lol:

    yeah both fighters are pretty well liked, they;re not divisive so ppl dnt like to argue about them.

    i agree tho, im pulling for katsidis too

    Whats more can be said?

    We made a few threads when it was announced. It seems like nearly everyone from the aussie forum is clammering to go watch this fight , which doesnt always happen.

    Im PUMPED!!!! I just want to see it, i done my talking (typing) weeks ago.

    I will be watching for sure, the fight should be on Foxtel, not PPV just on one of the sport channels

    We all want rocky to win its just that Diaz is a great fighter and will out work/ box rocky....{i hope not}......its a hard fight for Kat but hats off for taking the big fight....unlike another fighter we know.

    I just hope Kat gets in and lands first, he need to beat Diaz to the punch, and he has a great chance with his huge power, i hope he can hurt Diaz.

    I love it when Diaz stays tight and throws nice hooks and straights, but if he pumps to many undercuts, i think thats when Kat can land a big right hand.

    Diaz wins this for me. Don't be deluded by Katsidis' performance against Casamayor. Casa is old and there for the taking and he still ko'd Katsidis. Marquez is an absolute certainty to beat Casa. Katsidis has beaten who exactly ? Thats right, no one. He is very exciting and defends punches with his face but he is not elite imo.

    I do not think it should be ppv, but i think ch 10 or fox should show this fight live.
    Bull**** Fox and that show so much bull**** but cant show an aussie fight one of the best lightweights
