This proves my point about Hatton!

Technically Ricky cant touch Floyd & from what I have seen of preperation Hattons camp know this. They are going to rely on pure pressure .
A smothering , punch & hold tactic with emphisis on looking for those nasty body shots. Ricky sure as hell isnt going to fight on the outside & get dismantled like Gatti & instead has resigned himself to walking through what Floyds throwing to get to him like he did to the far heavier handed Kostya....The only problem for Hatton is that Floyd wont bring it & thus being a far more elusive target than Tszyu ever was , Its going to be a brilliant match up & a war of attrition with pressure v counter punching , The big question is who deals with the repective problems the best...!!!!!!!!

 

So if Floyd does seriously hurt, and wobble Hatton in route to a stoppage will you claim it was because Hatton was the smaller guy?

I gave my opinion.

Floyd's NOT a 1 punch KO artist by any means and has KO'd anyone at 47 except Mitchell who was OLD, SHOT, and RUINED. He in no way has the right hand power equivalent of Tszyu and Hatton handled that.

Floyd had 1 KO at 35 and the only two at 40 were Bruseles and Gatti and those two were totally outclassed. If you truly believe Hatton's on that level? Well.. welcome to the fight game.

 

A great and neutral point and analysis. I mean thats what i have tried but now i am back being the patriotic hatton fan.

 

I've little fear of a true KO and no its not about being smaller, hell, Floyds hardly any bigger physically.

PBF has exactly 4 Ko's above 130 and 3 of 4 were completely outclassed fighters not on Hatton's level.

If Floyd truly KO's him? Then its congrats, but that aint happenin captain:nono
