Ok. List all the ATG's Duran has fought and beaten, then I'll list Pac's.

Well if you want to be strict with your definition of all-time great(ie. consensus all-time top ten in their division..and no ****ing shitty junior divisions) then the answer for Duran would be Leonard and for Pac it would be none.

Trouble with speed? You should ask Sugar Ray if he had trouble with speed.

Duran would beat Pacman via late stoppage or UD. He also beats everyone Pacman has faced rather convincingly. Shame the same couldn't be said about Pacman.

I like pacman, he's great for the sport, infact i don't wish to judge him until he has finished with the sport. As i think it's only fair, I think it'll be clear when/if Mayweather and Pacman get it on.

What you exposed is your hatred for Duran once again,Duran and Pac are two of my favs so i dont give a **** either way while you clearly have an agenda against Duran.

btw its great to see that you jumped on Pac's bandwagon after speaking so much **** about him.

So would Chris Arreola. Does that make him better than Pacman?

Bottom line: If you have to try to say that JMM, MAB and EM aren't ATG fighters to try to support your weak arguments, then ditch your weak arguments. Be a grown up.

You know why? Because when I'm presented with convincing evidence, I sometimes get convinced. It's called being an adult.

    Why?

Where is the dictionary definition of ATG? Its a fluid term that depends on the person using it.

Most people who have at least a basic grasp of the history of boxing and have seen a decent catalogue of fighters from different eras tend to have a pretty harsh criteria for the term ATG.
Because they are aware of more then just a handful of fighters bouncing around today and the famous ones the western media keep telling us are the greatest fighters ever.

There have been just to many great fighters to call everyone a ATG, so you have to get picky with it.

And we know you arent one of those people who has a grasp of boxing history or have seen an array of different fighters from previous eras bernie....So grow up, understand that your opinion of a ATG is not going to be everyones.

Duran started his career at 119 pounds and peaked at 135.At 129,he beat Ernesto Marcel, who beat Alexis Arguello. At lightweight,he beat Ken Buchanen,Ray Lampkin and Esteban DeJesus twice, amongst others. When he arrived at welter,he was 62-1.By the time he fought Leonard,he had beaten Carlos Palomino at that weight(147) and had had about 70 fights. The second Leonard fight was his last at 147 and he was over 30.In other words, all of the other fab 4 were significantly younger, bigger and more athletic.Anything that happened after he turned 30 is gravy.Duran has an ATG resume period.

The only people who don't consider all three Mexicans to be ATG's are Duran nutriders, and only in this thread. So how about YOU grow up?
