So I guess when GGG who's BTW a MW is saying anyone 154-168 he's not calling out smaller guys? He wanted PBF at 154 PBF and the size difference between PBF-GGG is bigger than Ward-GGG.

He's learning from peds master CatchWeight KING Floyd...hard work medication

The only difference is GGG is in his 30's and Floyd is 128 years old.

This thread sums up the problem with this board; instead of fans calling out any boxer that trys to duck a worthy challenger or try to gain an unfair advantage by making an opponent fight at a cw, we instead get people turing it into a personal battle - "your guy done this, my guy done this".

It is beyond pathetic that people come here specifically to argue like whinging girls on a Justin Bieber forum and by doing so give certain fighters permission to get away with things that make a joke out of boxing.

Maybe if more guys here were actually a fan of the sport, rather than particular fighters, then they wouldn't get too emotionally involved with said fighter and not let them get away with doing things that shouldn't be allowed in the sport.

Incidentally, I know I may be in the minority and I know it's approaching the realm of almost being an impossibility, but I still kind of hope the pieces fall in place to make Ward vs Golovkin a reality.

I can see Ward finding any and every excuse to not fight LHW's also.

how is between 97 and 150K for a first PPV bad between 2 fighters who aren't even American? are you also saying that 20K sold out seats at MSG arena is terrible? how many people saw Wilder-Stiverne live? or Ward-Smith? :think

Stop saying between 97k-150k, it was 97k. That's a fact.

And RJJ had much competition in that era while not having a promoter.

But ofc, you will forget to mention that... or just leave it out purposely. :bbb

On the other hand, GGG got so owned he ain't even fighting on no PPV's in the foreseeable future. :yep

How's that for our new PPV star?

May just retired, Pac is about to exit, his only real competition is Canelo and he can't even do it himself. :yep

It's just not what people expected. They actually made a profit so it wasn't terrible, but the expectations from GGG fans etc were FAR higher. I definitely did not see one GGG fan predict 97-150k . The lowest I saw was 300k. GGG is just not a ppv draw.

At least people pay to see him fight. ROC nation had to pay the people to watch Ward fight(they needed to fill out the empty stands)and they still couldn't give away all the tickets they had.
