It's not ridiculous. It's not the fact that he isn't fighting this minute that's beginning to bug me. It's the apparently increasing probability that he wont fight til' NEXT JUNE that I'm bitching about. What I'd like to see is for Team Margarito to make a deal and set a date. There are all kinds of entertaining matchups out there at or near his weight. They talked alot of **** about how Marg wants to be the fans champ and were belittling other fighters for being choosy and fighting infrequently. So ****ing pick somebody and let's get it on!! Tell us who you're gonna fight in Febuary (or thereabouts) so we can start speculating and talkin' smack and enjoying the runup to the actual event.

I'll tell you who he's gonna fight, his next fight is gonna be against some unknown guy for less than 2 mil

allow me to school you on economics considering i WORK IN A ****IN BANK!

NO ONE! carries around ****in millions of dollars in their backyard and ****...certainly not promoters and high end business execs

    SOOOOO

they have to get it from where? A BANK!

because of the credit crunch and freezing and stagnate economy...only SOOOOO MUCH MONEY is allowed to exit banks, while still keeping enough for everyone elses needs and demands for their money

SOOO when you have a pretty frozen economy and not enough liquidity within major banks, you cant really get better deals out there...seeing as how banks dont wanna loan out cash on boxing

because BOXING as a sport has gone down in numbers...more and more people are tuning out and changing the channel (because of dumb****s like Margo making business decisions rather than being humble and realizing where he came from and taking on fights where they land)

SO BOXING! cant provide a reasonable argument as to what kind of numbers theyll produce and HOW effective they will be at paying back the loan...

so allow me to give you the finger :fy

    and claim serious ownage...:hat :deal

yea...there are plenty of them here

but when you get posters like Bazooka calling me ignorant and getting all hot-headed...this is a clear and abundant sign that the man like to clean Margo's balls clean with his tongue every morning...

That would be ok with me for now. I happen to think he should rematch PW sooner rather than later, but (for me anyway) it doesn't have to be his next fight. Like the SD said he did fight 2 highly regarded welters since April so if he wants a Quintana or a Berto or maybe he wants to jump up 7lbs and fight a Vernon Forrest (Imo, this would be an easy way for him to pick up another trinket in another weight class) or a James Kirkland or something, I got no problem with that. Whatever. As long as it's not a complete termater can. It just looks bad when (after all the 'most-feared-fighter' crap) they act indecisively in securing the next opponent.

Banks are just to fund the fight itself and its not like a promoter like Arum doesnt have good credit, They can get the money especially knowing that a fight with Mosley will turn out with huge PPV numbers they will make that money back and alot more.

Well thought out arguement it just dont suit this situation 2 million dollars isnt ****, and the last I checked PPV Numbers havent been dropping people are still ordering the fights, even though Wall street is in the shitter.

your acting like Boxing is on Wall Street that isnt the case. yes there is a crisis but it hasnt effected the sport yet until you prove other wise you wasted a bunch of your own time typing that.

He is not only turning down fights, he is turning down his money fight that you all said he deserved lol. He isn't a draw, he wants top dollar, and he just doesn't have the style that appeals to the public. Arum knows his worth. 2 mil to fight Shane lol...

people are not paying to see DLH vs Pac, Pavlik vs Hopkins, Jones vs Calzaghe etc. right now but you think they will pay to see Margarito fight?:rofl:patsch

**** man even the Golden Boy himself is struggling to sell tickets right now but you think the current and future economy won't effect a Class B fighter like Margarito? LOL

Have you seen the recent PPV numbers for the fights I mentioned? They were a total joke.
